This page explains the missions available to the members of the Inn, as well as how well they pay.

Mission Rankings

PARADIGM ranks missions on a D to S system to signify the urgency and scale of the mission. The descriptions of the rankings are as follows.

D Rank Missions: Missions of a standard cleanup/containment nature. The danger is localized, the threat is of a relatively small scale, and the mission can be handled by roughly any agent worth their salt, albeit some might need help.
Payment: 1,000 dollars. (100,000 ¥)

C Rank Missions: Missions which are of a more serious threat level, actually requiring a bit more than standard action, which can have farther reaching consequences, such as affecting an entire city or area. The dangers involved in this type of mission can vary by the number or the nature of the threat, and are to be taken seriously by all but the strongest of agents.
Payment: 5,000 dollars. (500,000 ¥)

B Rank Missions: More serious missions, the kind which can have far-reaching consequences. Often a precursor to something larger and PARADIGM is taking preventative measures, or something of a small-scale disaster. Powerful single targets or organized groups qualify as B Rank missions, and agents are advised to come prepared for the worst.
Payment: 10,000 dollars. (1,000,000 ¥)

A Rank Missions: Missions of this rank are of a deadly serious nature. An entire country or region is at risk, the danger is widespread or immediate, and things have to be handled decisively and with high risk. Incredibly powerful single opponents with dangerously organized groups or armies might be involved, or actual natural disasters on a country-wide scale. All agents are ordered to proceed with caution, and to end this ASAP.
Payment: 25,000 dollars. (2,500,000 ¥)

S Rank Missions: Missions for the strongest and most qualified of agents. S Rank missions are of a planetary scale, and the threats are numerous, widespread and incredibly dangerous both on a personal and organizational scale. Several high-ranking agents are required for these kinds of missions, and the urgency is directly proportionate to how widespread the danger is. These might be time and resource consuming missions, and all agents are ordered to be ready to be involved for an extended amount of time.
Payment: 50,000 dollars. (5,000,000 ¥)

SS and SSS Rank Missions: Missions of an S rank which are on a scale yet unseen. Possibly galactic or universal scale. Expect the apocalypse if a mission of this rank is ever attempted, and all agents are to participate. Note: Any mission which gains the SS rank means it was an S Rank that was not accomplished, so the dangers are doubled or tripled, at least, and all agents are to take up arms and participate.
Payment: 100,000 to 500,000 dollars. (10,000,000 to 50,000,000 ¥)

• For Genre, it's pretty much what you feel the mission is. People have used Intel / Mytery / Political / Magical / Drama / Martial Arts / Adventure / Spiritual / Espionage / Sci-Fi / Fantasy / Action / Horror / Comedy / Survival / Mature / Supernatural so far.
• The : indents the paragraph. Also, you do not need to use the BR or P codes for breaks and paragraphs. Just spacing with enter and using : at the beginning is enough.
• Toggledisplay is finicky, so it has to be on its own line. If it's on a line with something else, it may cause issues. Toggledisplay is what hides the bulk of your synopsis to keep the page a bit more manageable.

Operation #151: Never Tell Us The Odds!

• Description: A robotic databank has been captured by a tyrannical doctrine, and to save the lives of all allies, PARADIGM has to retrieve it before it's too late. Crossgate Activity Detected

• Synopsis: Agents were called to retrieve plans for the Rebel Alliance, and were shown that Ciel Etoile, recognized by agent Jackal, was behind the abduction of the Droid carrying the plans.

After getting weapons from the Rebels, the agents made their way via the EPOCH to the forest moon where the Imperial base was located. After getting undue attention from an Imperial Walker, the agents managed to subdue the pilot, and used it to approach the base undetected. However, the base management contacted them, and kept closing in on their ruse. Agent Swiftblade transported agents Testarossa, Clan-Clan, and Lynde into the base as a group of engineers and Imperial Stormtroopers approached their Walker, while agents Sie, Tanaka, Strafe, Jackal and Langley made their way in with agent Jones.

Once inside, the alarm was sounded, but agent Clan Clan shut it down, as well as locking down doors as they fought their way down to the engine systems. Several Imperial Stormtroopers got in the way, but with agent Jackal's training, they made their way past them. However, agent Clan Clan's devices were flushed out and the system turned against them. When they reached the engine systems, however, they noticed falling metal, and were met with an enemy agent, capable of deflecting blaster shots, armed with two lightsabers, and telekinesis, identified as a Sith, took on all agents.

The battle was amazingly brutal, with him choking agent Swiftblade, blasting agent Sie with lightning, and eventually crippling both agents Sie and Jones with his lightsabers. However, between the combined assaults, he was taken down. Agent Swiftblade went into the room where the Droid was located, but was ambushed by the Innovator. He was used as a hostage as Stormtroopers began to mass in the room, but agent Clan-Clan managed to open the door. The group then questioned the droid, which had been seriously damaged, and ascertained the plans were disposed of. Agents Jones and Sie were taken into the Epoch, as well as the droid. Colonel Stomp heard them recount their battle with the Sith, identifying him as 'Darth Vader', and proceeded to evacuate the base as agents returned home for some critical medical attention.

Operation #153: Magic! Dragons! Idol Singers, oh my!

• Description: A princess, a dragon, a dragon slayer, and an elf have all been kidnapped! Please rescue them before something really, really, really bad happens!

After a few bizarre introductions, the agents ventured forth.. taking a path into the forest. With a few twists and turns, eventually they stumbled upon the cave of a Cyclops. The Cyclops at first threatened to eat the agents all up but then was able to be reasoned with, saying that instead he would love a great burger instead. As the Cyclops continued to dwell on the thought of this delicious burger, the agents sneaked off to resume their quest.

As they continued on their path, the scenery began to change and it was apparent that they were approaching a volcano. Apparently, whoever had kidnapped Pia's friends was keeping them hostage in a tower or castle that was dangerously near one. After bypassing a few traps, the agents were able to locate the culprit who had kidnapped Pia's friends and the princess. While Agent Shinshi Seta and Agent Takeo Masaki worked on freeing hostages, the other agents did battle against the kidnapper, who was none other than Phantasmoon. She explained that she needed these individuals because of their high quantities of mana. She then summoned a dragon love love beast and at first the agents did not want to fight the dragon. The dragon was too cute. Then the dragon went crazy and grew up to become ugly.. and the agents were then able to fight it. Phantasmoon escaped and the dragon was then defeated. The agents returned back to Pia with her friends and the princess and then left home with the Epoch.

Operation #154: Machinations of a Mad Woman

• Description: Ophelia's assaults on the church have gone quiet.. She has been seen traveling to Gong, the machinist capital quite a bit ..Please investigate!

Our Agents arrived on the scene, speaking with Lavy and Alicia they learned that Ophelia Beoulve has been making a number of trips here. Once they headed off to find Ophelia .. they passed by a large wagon carrying several crates in it leaving they very warehouse that Ophelia was heading into, with the engineer they had been told about.' Beoulve used some kind of gemstone to activate a self-propelled suit of armor she'd apparently blackmailed this Engineer into making for her. ' as Takeo put it. After a long and gruesome battle Ophelia would escape and her new project would be halted .. but even after the battle .. the machine wasn't completely destroyed .. it was left to auto destruct while Ophelia fled the scene.. after destroying half the city to do so. What ever the Construct was .. it was powerful, immune to magic, and it's seemed to shrug off most attacks, while still becoming damaged it didn't seem to care much.... Our Heroes soon returned home .. with a number of injuries.

Operation #155: Teacher! Leave us kids alone.

• Description: Ratings are dropping, apparently.. which is making a certain producer need the skills and grandeur of certain agents.

• Synopsis: The agents appeared at the X-mansion where Jubilee waited with them with a remote... and a note from Mojo.

Mojo's ratings were falling on the kid network, Mojolodeon.. so he wanted the PARADIGM agents to help boost up ratings by participating in his new show The Hidden Secret of Mojo's Temple. Agents were wary of participating, but Mojo said that if they wouldn't help, he'd go and find some other participants elsewhere.. mainly the X-men's students. The Agents then took Mojo's remote and found themselves in a nursery where Mojo briefed them a little bit about the game (no rules), and provided them with a machine that would help them fit the role better. The Kid-o-Matic. After using the machine, the agents were changed into child-versions and then shoo'ed onto the set which looked like something out of Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. After thwarting a massive tumbling spike ball, and trying to put together a silver monkey (that had other monkeys guarding the pieces and throwing projectile silver poo). Unfortunately agents Suzume and Akio were hit by the projectiles.. the silver making it very painful for Akio. Agent Miyabi however came to his aid and helped get the silver off of him. Suzume was able to transform into Chibi Sailor Centauri to get the silver poo off of her. Lucy was able to construct the monkey... Afterwards, the agents found themselves at the final stage. A Slor.

However, it wasn't really a slor because that was a little too much for kids. The slor was then turned into a giant dragon with polka dots. Agents used 'censored' versions of their attacks against the beast; Nikolai with his wooden sword, Aimi (Now as Sailor Chibi Sirius) with her plastic guitar, Suzume with her toy lightsaber, Lucy with her nerf gun, Kamen with popcorn, Atticus with lemonade, and so on. The dragon took a severe beating and eventually collapsed and the PARADIGM kids were victorious. Mojo debated a second round but he decided to let them go and possibly come up with a better and different game for next time. The agents then used the Adult-o-Matic to revert to their original forms and then go home.

Operation #156: Once and for all... obey!

• Description: The demon sisters are at it again! Stop them from trying to take over Daten City!

• Synopsis: Agents were called upon to put a stop to Scanty and Kneesocks' crazy antics once again.

Upon getting to the city, they were informed that there was a powerful demon stone of a sort powering a machine that was bringing ghosts of various types into the city. They were informed that destroying the machine/stone was a priority, as well as handling the demon sisters.

The group went off to head towards where the ghosts seemed to be spawning into the city to be stopped suddenly by a group of miniature ghosts. The ghosts tried to simply jump on the group and tackle, as well as spit acidic exploding loogies at them. The group QUICKLY dispatched these annoying nuisances by grouping them together and using massive area of effect attacks on them.

After that, the group ran into a girl called Envy. She was dealt with rather swiftly after refusing to back down, being taken down by a simple one two combo! Elias cast haste on Haruka, allowing Haruka to speed past the girl and trip her with her sword. After that, Farrah grabbed her by the head and introduced Envy to her knee. It hurt. Past that, they found Gluttony and Sloth, who once again didn't feel like fighting. The group left Envy in their care, grabbed some capri suns from the lazy demons and continued on into the building that was the base of the ghost machine.

Inside, they quickly ran into (and attacked) Scanty and Kneesocks, Farrah throwing a desk at Kneesocks, sending the unattentive demon slamming back against a wall. Enraged, the sisters got back together and transformed into their battle modes, but the fight was quickly interrupted as the ceiling started to cave in! Izumi, having covered Elias' eyes at Scanty and Kneesocks lewd transformation, inadvertently caused part of the cave in to slam down on Elias. Belle and Prae also had part of the rubble slam into and land on them, taking a moment to get back up. The demon sisters were burried under the rock, now out of combat completely.

The cause of the cave in? STOCKING! A new girl appeared! People were shocked to find out she looks JUST LIKE AIMI ALMOST!! Standing atop the rubble covering the sisters, the girl was holding the demon stone the team was sent for! When Stocking tried to attack, Izumi jumped on her back, so Stocking just went to back up hard into a wall to try to shake her off. Buzz Jones took this moment to use his telekinetic powers and steal the stone from Stocking as she was distracted by Izumi, and then Elias used his OBLIVION RING on her to seal her away. End of mission at last! Or was it?

Scanty and Kneesocks were seen fleeing the scene, not wanting any more to do with the fighting of the people who could handle Stocking. Buzz Jones and the others noticed the demon stone was pulsing with evil power, and when another miniature ghost was destroyed, its essence got sucked into the stone itself. Prae, feeling concern over this, took the stone and went to fly it back to Garterbelt as fast as possible. However, it seems ghosts wanted the stone really badly, and even the cloud ghosts in the air tried to slam her down to take it for themselves. Making a quick decision to simply rid the world of the stone so no one can abuse it, Prae shatters it! The result was a massive shockwave that sent half of the group flying back, some through walls and into vehicles.

Trying to recover from being suddenly knocked on their asses, they realize the oblivion ring was shattered as Stocking was freed from her prison. She transformed into her angal battle form on the spot and started attacking people with her swords. Trying to attack Hayate, Hayate dodged the attack, asking her about her sexual preferences. Distracted by that, Stocking almost gets plowed by Farrah's surprise haymaker, barely managing to block the attack. Izumi, concerned for the now even more injured Elias, tried to get to him, but was almost cut off as Stocking threw a sword in her way, but she dodged and jumped over it without fail.

Hayate uses a harem jutsu to try to seduce Stocking, but it only seems to enrage her as she says she is nothing like her sister. CLEARLY DISTRACTED, Belle's launching attack hits her square in her midsection, sending her flying through a building. Recovering in time to block a second attack by Farrah, she somehow summons a car which ends up crashing through a wall and running some of the agents over indiscriminately.

Unable to make use of her car that she had enter the battlefield, she ends up held in the air by Buzz Jones and his telekinetic powers. Izumi reaches Elias and they go to do a crazy whirli-attack on Stocking as she is unable to move and defend herself. At the same time, Hayate ransengans her car, utterly destroying it. Devastatingly injured by Elias and Izumi's attack, she goes flying through the air like a missile, unable to get any bearings as Belle grabs her and uses the momentum to move and slam her head first into the ground. Stocking is finally defeated!

Recovering her 'swords', which now seem to be simple articles of clothing, and Stocking herself, the group takes her to Garterbelt and explain the situation before returning home to patch up everyone's injuries. GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

Operation #157: Fools!

• Description: Fairies have taken over Death City! PARADIGM asked for assistance.

There were enough fairies in the sky to turn night time into day time. Blair the Cat arrived to explain to the agents (after being hugged furiously by Hanako) that the fairies left their home in an enchanted cave after the completion of the last mission PARADIGM carried out for Soul Eater. She explained the objective was to get the entity in the cave to leave the cave so the fairies may return.

Upon getting to the cave, it seemed like they were lost in the tunnel network, so Hanako used her abilities to summon two cats to scout ahead. One dismayed ninja cat returned with a disgruntled expression, pointing the way. Upon finding the main cave, Faustlin turned off a very loud and annoying record player that had a song on repeat. The moment the needle left the player, the sword in the room scolded Faustlin for interrupting his new hit album. The sword revealed itself, much to Drake's delight, to be EXCALIBUR! SWORD OF LEGEND!

After much banter and conversation that seemed to lead itself in circles, Samhain and Hanako both suggested to Excalibur that he needed to get back out intoe the world. After considering their terms, Excalibur set it upon himself to carry out this task to find a new hero to work with, as no one else can be trusted with such a delicate job. After Hanako flatly refused to take Excalibur's offer to wield him and become a hero of justice, Excalibur departed, abandoning the cave.

Distraught upon the very thought that they may have doomed the planet itself, the agents returned to Death City to report to Blair what had occurred. Hanako required a hug before they returned home.

Operation #158: The Bloody Angel

• Description: Ophelia appears to have the Virgo Auracite, she has been sighted at the Orbonne Monastery ..Stop her before she summons something with it!

Our Agents arrived on site and spoke with Lavian and Alicia. It seems Ophelia managed to get her hands on the Virgo Auracite and was now making plans to summon a being known as Altima The High Seraphim. The agents managed to gain quick access to the chapel thanks to Agent Aimi Utada's use of Song Bird, Knocking out the guards at the front gate. Due to Agent Bartiel Onyx prior to this, one of the soldiers fled inside before Aimi was able to sleep him. So our agents gave chase! .. Running into two knight like constructs, Our agents quickly subdued them to continue tailing the archer. One to the next floor they ran into another group of Soldiers that Aimi once agian Song birded to sleep. Though another battle would be prevented .. the Alexander Knights were joined by a Dragoon Model..Our Agents had a rough fight on there hands. The Alexander bots proved to be faster, stronger and pretty much unaffected by magic and holy powers as Agents Maggie and Bartiel quickly found out ... a vicious fight would ensue. Thanks to the efforts of Agents Takeo Masaki, Gilbert and Aimi, the 3 knight bots where finally destroyed. During the fight however Bartiel rushed ahead to stop the archer ... and was met with a shot to the leg and head ...thankfully they where spell bullets, he was only Immoblized and Muted.

Bartiel, instead of finding the archer stumbled on Ophelia Beoulve ..Whom Bart would proceed to question the motives of. After a short talk ..It was discovered exactly why She was on this crusade.. The others quickly joined the scene as she was about to leave Bart to be shot by her chemists ..thankfully Agent Masaki delt with them before they could cause any damage. Our agents started to speak with Ophelia ..questioning her motives .. telling her her family..that is what is left of her family misses her dearly ..and that she had become the very monster she was fighting to destroy ...This broke Ophelia's spirit.. Unable to bring herself to fight .. she slumped to the floor. Our Agents offered to set her on the right path to redemption.. and for a moment .. it looked as if she was actually going to go through with there plans ..she had started to turn towards the light once more... but it would not last long ..as Gilbert was helping her to her feet, a sword burst through her chest...seems some one did not like this plan ... they would see a Blonde man in a green cloak, with golden armor on, snarling and laughing at there attempts to save Ophelia, saying that her bloodline shall be destroyed for everything they had done to the church of Galbados...

Aimi, Bartiel, and Takeo ..Enraged by the sudden attack on Ophelia, rushed in and struck out at the man with righteous fury while Gilbert tried desperately to heal Ophelia.. whom was suffering and dieing slowly in his arms, unable to speak. All she could do was claw at Gil's armor ..trying to stay alive ... but it will be all for not.. Lady Ophelia would pass on ..letting a last few gasps of air....All according to plan..this is just what the mysterious man wanted ..with Ophelia dead .. the Virgo stone she held would take over and there would be no resistance from Ophelia's will ...and thus ..a God was born into the world once more ...Altima The High Seraphim.

So the battle with the High Seraphim would ensue .. with some quick thinking they managed to pull Ophelia free of the monsters grasp ... but that did not destroy the would by God...our heroes where caught in a horrid battle pushing most of there to there very limits, Thankfully with the help of Agent Akio Minamino, Our agents would survive the ordeal. with no loses .. but they where beated battered and blooded .. most of them tired out from the long winded battle...

They would return to the surface .. hoping that while Ophelia was in the care of Lavian and Alicia they could have saved her ..but it seems that Ophelia had passed on and was not able to be saved .. no make how many attempts Akio and the others gave to her. Takeo informed the the knights of the goings on in the church while the others returned to the Epoch. Promising to give Ophelia a proper burial, and inform Lady Oaks and Lord Beoulve of the events that transcended her .. but Takeo gained some important information. The man that slain Ophelia was of house Tengille..So they have a name for whom to seek vengeance on if they so wished ... our Agents would return home with another victory under there belt .. though it was short lived and bitter sweet.

Agents appeared on the lifeless, war-torn world, where automatic war machines continued to war. They made their way into the Global Purity HQ, and then saw the systems were active. Automated defenses were made short work of, but the agents still had 250 floors to go down, and non-functional elevators. With some effort, they made their way down fifty floors, but were met down there by a giant, recently made hole, still smoking. While debating the merits of hopping down there, they were contacted on the intercom by Eletian Carmichael. The Rogue Ultimate Lifeform said he needed their help to make his way deeper into the building, due to its reinforcements. After some dissension, the agents agreed, due to the imminent threat of a possible army of others like him.

After focusing everyone's power in one spot, Eletian Carmichael and his partner, an odd cyborg girl, made their way down the new hole, 80 floors deeper. Agents quickly followed, with agent Hibiki first after him. However, due to his motorcycle, Carmichael made his way down before the others, who needed to make their way down a bit slower due to the drop. When they reached the 230th basement, they saw the impact of their hit, which left a dent but no damage to the armour of this floor. However, further down the hall was a perfect hole that led them down to the bottom 20 floors, birthplace of the Ultimate Lifeform Project. Agents made their way down and saw a battle in progress between Carmichael and a man, which seemed relatively evenly matched.

Agents Hibiki and Saotome focused on Carmichael, along with agent Kiske, while agents Sparda, Masaki, Kakita, Gilbert and Uchiha focused on the new opponent, who seemed quite adept at not taking much damage from direct hits. The man, calling himself Dr. Gennosuke Shuku, crushed everyone in the room under immense gravity, then attempted to hit Carmichael, who had been critically injured by agent Hibiki, with a Black Hole, or so he claimed. Agent Gilbert struck him to prevent the attack, then agent Onyx started promoting assistance to Carmichael to use his strength against the new threat. Agent Masaki's teleportation was interrupted, then he was summarily struck down by Dr. Shuku, who also resisted an attack through his back from agent Uchiha, who then proceeded to destroy the computer systems, while all still standing agents hit Dr. Shuku with their most powerful attacks, causing some damage, but leaving him standing.

Agents argued with each other over the difference of strategy involving Carmichael, who made his way out, and struck a blow at Dr. Shuku while he was fighting against agents Gilbert and Onyx, due to agent Masaki's condition. Carmichael then left with his partner, leaving behind a spell to trap agent Saotome, after incapacitating agent Hibiki, taking down two agents in the process. Dr. Shuku then said he was leaving, as he had nothing more to draw from here, opened a dimensional distortion, and stepped through. Agents then returned home. Dissension over agent Onyx's position about Carmichael and agents Hibiki and Uchiha has been noted.

Operation #160: Event Horizon

A surprising intrusion aboard the ship made agents have to hurry to get to the location where Gennosuke Shuku and his troops appeared, structurally the closest and safest to the core of the ship, breached via a powerful gravity quake, followed by mass teleportation. Taking a monorail as Revision Two handled automatic defenses, agents got to the location, and were immediately besieged by the Bioroids, firing at them with energy attacks from their hands. Agent Lynde managed to raise a barrier, then a fight broke out between the agents and the troopers. Agents Filbuster, Shinra and Leben managed to take down three of them with some damage, and agent Shinra and Uchiha took down the last. They then were rocked by a giant gravity pull towards the center of the ship. Revision Two's taunts had caused Dr. Shuku to blast a hole deep inside.

As the agents moved on ahead, they were in a large, empty, deformed corridor and facing more of the troopers, each unleashing blast after blast at them. Agent Shinra took Uchiha down a separate path, to avoid the guards, leaving the others to deal with them. Agent Filbuster managed to literally flood the hallway and crush the enemy soldiers, washing them away down the hall, unfortunately back towards their employer. Agent Testarossa finished off the Bioroids still alive on the way to the center of the ship. However, during this time, Agents Shinra and Uchiha attempted to assassinate Dr. Shuku by making him swallow something which would grow inside him, but to no effect. Agent Shinra managed to take out three of the troopers, but her summon, Yojimbo, was destroyed by Dr. Shuku, and she was seriously wounded in the process. When the other agents arrived, she had convinced Dr. Shuku the Drive wasn't there, which made him decide to destroy the ship.

The agents confronted Shuku there, as he charged up an attack he called Black Hole Cluster. Agent Leben attempted to knife him as agent Testarossa fired at him with her RAIL weapon system, to little effect. Agent Shinra suggested to Leben to attack his mind, to which he responded by launching the incomplete attack at both women, with agent Shinra taking the brunt of the attack, almost killing her instantly, save for agent Lynde's interference. Agent Leben's attacks did seem to affect him, which let the others cause damage to him as he was weakened. After a brief skirmish, Dr. Shuku decided to leave, during which time agents kept an eye on him but let him get away in one of his own wormholes. Agents then returned to the base to get some much needed medical attention.

Operation #161: Sowing the Seeds of War

Taking the papers handed to them, the agents went to the science station colony, Olympiad. The place seemed deserted for years, except for a single, still relatively well maintained building, where a giant hole was blown through the fortified wall. Agents made their way in, the whole place's admittedly diminished staff found dead and strewn about. Agents eventually found a reinforced door, led there by agent Fontaine with agents Dreyar and Saotome finding a hand, to use its prints to open the door, finding behind it a biotics lab, with 30 tanks, filled with dead-seeming, tumor ridden humanoids, save for the 27th. Agent Shinra took the Hard Drive from the computer in the system, but then were contacted by Kira Yamato, telling them the Aprilus 9 PLANT was under attack.

Agents broke away from Olympiad and made their way to Aprilus 9. Arriving there, the place was already a mess, with people running and the industrial sector in disarray and flames. The agents went there, where they encountered the enhanced soldiers (later called Ultimate Life Forms) that were terrorizing the place. Agents engaged them, but they were gifted with superhuman strength, resilience, reflexes, and the ability to fire energy blasts out of their hands. Agent Baton noticed they had electronic systems over them, and agents began using water-based and electrical attacks, while agent Utada kept them separate. Three of the beings were killed, and the other was blown away by agent Dreyar.

Alarms sounded through the PLANT, that the station's core was being attacked. Agents made their way down into the technological area, where they found an armored figure and Gennosuke Shuku waiting for them, with the self-destruct alarm, and the control panel slashed up. Dr. Shuku explained that this one was better than the Ultimate Life Forms he had brought, and then agents attacked this new opponent while agent Shinra attempted to bypass the controls. Agents Saotome and Hokage attacked Dr. Shuku with no real effect, making the fight turn entirely to the newcomers. Agents attempted to keep this new opponent off of agent Shinra, with agents Dreyar and Hokage causing decent damage to him, but agent Baton was cut down and agent Shinra's arm was severed. After a drawn out battle, Dr. Shuku and his associate escaped, as agent Shinra finished her work, and agent Hokage used his Guardian Force to resurrect agent Baton. Agents were then rushed away from Aprilus 9 to head back to medical.

The Agents met up with Akihiko Sanada At a Tokyo train station at around 11:40 pm and spoke for sometime with him about the mission details. After some prodding from Agent Hitomi Uzumaki they began learning of the Dark Hour and various other happenings going on involving this case. Several of The Shadow Operatives agents have gone missing during an investigation and Paradigm was contacted for search and rescue. The Dark Hour is an expanse of time that exists between Midnight and 12:01am, anyone who experiences this time is generally whisked away to a strange alternate world where monsters known as Shadows roam free. The event seems to be triggered by a strange train that shows up at around midnight, which the agency is dubbing The 'Midnight Express'. It is unclear if the train itself is generating this strange realm or if other forces are at play here. Once entering the Dark hour our agents discovered that a majority of Electronics do not seem to work to well within that realm ... though a few items still remained functional.

Finding a still functional Radio and motorcycle, Agent Wilhelmina managed to contact the a man known as Naguma Sanosuke, from the sounds of it, he was badly injured and needed assistance. With the help of Agent Akio Minamino, They were able to easily track down the location of Sanosuke. It was a strange building that.. in the normal world would have been a hotel, but it had be warped by the Dark Hour.Once they had approached, they quickly encountered a woman in similar clothing as Sanada, Marle Okita, A fellow agent who was fleeing for her life from a collection of Shadow Monsters known as Gluttons, Not exceptionally Powerful creatures but they attack in packs and devour those they can corner. The agents, using quick thinking and tactics managed to smite the Shadows before any real harm could be done to Marle.They spoke with the woman and learned that Naguma was on the top floor of the building, after healing her and sending her back towards the train station they continued on there way. Something occurred to the agents though. '..There ..There all gone ....all ...gone" Naguma mentions that his patrol had been wiped out ...so then where did Marle come from and why did she know about Naguma's team.

Once at the top floor they found an agent slain at the elevator ..but not by a shadow, the man clearly died of a gunshot wound to the head, execution style. It wasn't long before they found Naguma, prone on the ground .. and another Naguma ..standing nearby.. The one seemed to speak of strange things, like how 'They' got there squad killed, 'They' are responsible for what happened here. The Naguma on the floor seeming to be having a freak out .. finally screaming 'NO! YOU ARE NOT ME!" ...and The other Naguma Transformed! 'I am a Shadow, The True Self." The creature announced. a battle with the Monster would issue, Eventually our Agents would rise to the challenge and the 'demon' was defeated. This, however, had a strange impact on Naguma, who suddenly became completely unresponsive. They would return to Sanada to update him.

Speaking with Sanada they discovered a number of things. First, Marle Okita is in fact an agent of the Shadow Operatives, but she is now currently M.I.A.. Second They learned that the coffins they saw in the shadow world were reflections of the people in this one. Third, they learned that Naguma, because he had not accepted what the strange alter Naguma was saying .. is likely to be comatose..and may never recover.

Over all it was a successful mission. The remaining agents saved.. but more questions where brought up then answered...

Operation #163: Feymarch in Flames

Agents arrived in the underworld and were shown through a shortcut to the Feymarch throneroom by King Edge Geraldine. He exited with the queen to deal with the Archfiends while Leviathan challenged the party to give Cicero the right to summon him. Shortly after the challenge was completed, Alichino showed up, stating his desire to kill us. He also mentioned another fiend who was battling Edge and Rydia, allowing Zero to run on ahead to help his family.

After the battle with Alichino finished, agents moved on to find Zero; arriving to find the fight seemingly over, apparently from Zero performing his Bomb summon. Zero was unconscious and King Edge was dead. Rydia, while explaining the situation to agents, was incinerated by a surprise attack from Draghignazzo who then attacked the party, stating that his mission was complete but he was bored. After a hard battle, Draghignazzo took his leave of the fight, claiming he had enjoyed himself.

The Agents met up with Cassandra Aulin, A fellow agent and formal field agent. There she explained the details of the mission. " Right, lets get straight to the point. The city has been evacuated because of the dead raising from there graves and pushing out of the graveyard into the streets. .. how ever there is more then just Zombies roaming around here. As for the cause ..we are unsure, it started a few hours ago. I have been detecting some spikes in the ether around here .. so it is definitely magic related, that is why I called for you guys and not the BSAA. So the mission is simple, go in clear the infestation and stop whatever is causing this." If only it was that simple.

Storming the cemetery they encountered large amounts of undead resistance, having to carve there way to the chapel, the source of this problem. There they would find hundreds of bodies handing from the cieling .. throats slit and left to bleed out over buckets. They also found Astrid Blomgren, Her Father, and a familiar Foe Katalin Sarkozy. After a throw down with the Necromancer and the Short Vampire they managed to drive Katalin off and destroy the Necromancer, freeing the city from undead terror.. but Katalin's appearance only brought up more questions that needed answering.

Operation #165: Deja Vu

The AI Takamagahara ordered this mission, in order to add variables to a seemingly never ending time-loop in an attempt to make it cease. During the fight they encountered the Homicidal maniac Hazama, Sword of the Godslayer Mu-12, Relius Clover, a man of mystery. And his mechanical wife, Ignis. The agents were tasked with disrupting Hazama's plans

Hazama's plans were foiled, but Suzume was taken early on, and sent to the Cauldron atop an altar, where she stayed for the first half of the mission. Hazama fought the agents along with Mu and Ignis, as Relius watched on. Hazama, Mu, and Ignis were defeated just as Suzume emerged from the Cauldron, Looking like https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/33802335/Xi.png and began to fight much like Mu did. The agents succeeded in disabling her control box, and left before another Continuum shift began.

Our Agents talked with Flare Fielding, a local cop about the situation going down in the city, It was made clear that cleaning up the place was going to take more then just this one simple mission but it was a step in the right direction. Flare originally just wanted the group to hit the Sunset Strip while they hit one of the big baddies HQs. The Agents suggested a few other ideas and Flare decided to go along with it.There first battles would be fought with The Sharks, A local street gang backed by the mob here in New Pittsburgh.

Wading though seemingly endless waves of Thugs Our heroes moved onward to clear the streets of the Sunset Strip. Dealing with thugs, Bikers, people with stolen riot gear and the big bad himself, Gnasher. Gnasher was a rather tough customer. Not seeming to be taking any damage from blows delt to him.. rather he was getting hunt but just wasn't feeling it as someone pointed out, He was coked up. After that The Raid on the HQ began. Joining forces with Blaze and Blitz the 2 groups decided to attack both from above and below on the building. While who ever was in charge fled the scene in a helicopter leaving his bodyguard Shockwave, a very skilled ninja behind to deal with Our agents. The battle ensued, Shockwave using a number of tricks and ploys to assault out agents but in the end was quickly defeated, and Before she could flee was knocked out and turned in for questioning.

Cassandra, not willing to wait to tell them on the mission site, explained the situation of the mission at the Inn. ' Astrid Blomgren, one of our fellow hunters has gone missing, hasn't been answering all calls and I can't find her ..then I just got word of That vampire's activity again in Gothenburg. Mass disappearances have been involved with this case as well.' Katalin Sarkozy came to mind. She has plagued out agents before on previous missions. So they set off for the mission site! Arriving in Gothenburg, Sweden, outside a Museum.

Quickly, once inside the structure it became clear It was Katalin, bodies hanging from the ceiling, drained dry of their blood. They ventured further into the building to find the Bathory vampire lounging on a throne that was part of the museum. Casual, unafraid of our agents even with Agent David Morris and Nikolai there. Our agents wasted no time moving in to assault Katalin but with little effect. shrugging off attacks as if they were nothing. ..She pulled Astrid out of the shadows, Now freshly turned .. to fight her former friends.. the only thing on her mind was the hungry ... the lust for blood. So the emotion driven battle ensued. Agent Prae Shinra Wanted to capture Astrid in the end .. wanting desperately to find a cure .. but Morris knew what had to be done ... With Astrid put down and put to rest.. Our agents headed home. ..No longer would young Astrid have to suffer the burdens of her heritage.

Arriving on the scene, Agent Wilehlmina managed to provide a distraction that allowed the others to get pass the bouncer Pumpkinhead. A fight ensued, but thanks to Agents Geth and Dominic, the damage from Audrey 3 was kept to a minimum, while Agent Keiko fought off Pumpkinhead, Yoko was able to slip around and free the Princess. Once they were safetly away, the Princess awarded Dom with a kiss and they were back at the Epoch.

Things got off to a rough start, without any information as to where the Lotus were hidden within the city they had to hit the streets. While on the prowl they got suspicious of a few men who were up to unscrupulous activities. While Agents Farrah and Fakir distracted the guards, Agent Akio slipped into the speakeasy that they were guarding. Things went sour and soon a fight broke out. Turns out the group hadn't found the Lotus, they found the Dragons! After the confusion was cleared up, they were given the information from them where the Lotus were hiding, a local nightclub downtown.

Upon arrival at the nightclub, they went around back when they were suddenly ambushed by ninjas after taking down the door guard. Breaking through them, and the barrage of Demon Whiskey, they encountered the local Lotus boss, Four Burning Fists and quickly put an end to him, completing the mission.

Agents arrived at Silver Falls, in a Biolab owned facility currently acting as a base for the Silver Guardians, and were greeted by the contact, Wesley Collins. Explaining that others like him had been preparing for an incoming conflict, and were all teleporting to meet as a single group, when an anomaly took them away, and left the planet unprotected from the incoming threat of the Kobram Imperium, he asked the agents to assure the defense of Bright Lagoon until they were recovered. When the agents accepted, he offered them what he dubbed 'unassigned devices', given to him by Doctor Oliver, handing agents Suzumura the Red Turbo Morpher, Hokage the Green Turbo Morpher, Utada the Yellow Turbo Morpher, Setsuna Mikagami the Pink Turbo Morpher, and some of Dr. Oliver's personal devices, to agents Weber and Fontaine, the White Falconzord Morpher and Black Dino Thunder Morpher. He then gave them Epoch coordinates on where Bright Lagoon was, and explained he and his partner Eric would be rescuing their other allies and be there as soon as possible.

Arriving in the evacuated Bright Lagoon, an Officer of the Silver Guardians offered them information that the main teleport signal was in the middle of downtown, explaining from there that groups of alien invaders were appearing all over the city. Agents made their way there, to find a group of retooled mass-production soldiers from the previously destroyed Universal Alliance of Evil, such as Cogs, Chromites and Piranhatrons, as well as others, such as Grinders and Krybots, under the command of a knight-like alien robot called Count Marduk. Saying they offered no challenge, he directed a whole platoon of them on the agents, which were at least durable and dangerous enough to at least tax their resources and abilities, despite falling easily, by sheer force of numbers. After defeating most of them, Count Marduk chose to personally fight against the agents, attacking each of them simultaneously via super speed, super strength, and energy projection, causing them some serious trouble, at which point agents decided it was Morphing Time.

Agent Suzumura turned into his Makai Knight form, but the other agents Shifted Into Turbo, or called on the powers of the White Falconzord and the Black Dino Thunderzord, becoming Power Rangers, to fight against Count Marduk. Their initial attack was enough for him to single out agent Suzumura, and call forth Kobram Imperium Elites, reptilian monsters called Terrosaur, Reptar, Cruelcodile, Infinitoad and Violenz, which singled out and initiated combat with each agent individually, with only Marduk surviving the one on one encounter, all of the other Kobram Elite being defeated by their respective opponents (Yellow Turbo Ranger, Green Turbo Ranger, Pink Turbo Ranger, Black Dino Ranger and White Power Ranger, respectively), which left them all to fight Count Marduk. After defeating him, he was readying to let them finish him off with dignity, but King Cobra appeared and refused this to be the end. Using his alien reptile powers, he made his monsters grow. The now building-sized monsters, resurrected by Cobra, were facing off against the agents.

Fortunately, the Cavalry then arrived, riding into their powerful Megazords, an army over 100 strong, of Power Rangers. Agent Suzumura had by this time morphed into the Red Turbo Ranger, and joined the others in the Turbo Megazord. The assembled force made short and quick work of the Kobram monsters, causing King Cobra to flee the scene back to his space ship, no doubt to fight against this assembled Ranger Army in the future. The client, himself the Red Time Force Ranger, then thanked them for their help, and requested the Morphers back. As the agents gave them back, he asked if he could call on them until they'd found replacement Turbo Rangers, stating that the saying among their kind was that once a Ranger, always a Ranger. The agents agreed, and then returned home.

Operation #176: In Nomine..

PARADIGM agents were sent in to clear out the undead. The run of the mill skeletons and zombies were easy for the agents to dispatch, but their number, increasing as the city grew more and more ruined, made a long term battle difficult to deal with. The agents made their way into the middle of the city, near the Church in question, but it was guarded by what was clearly once a Dragon, now a dragon zombie with human corpses stitched on it. Agents engaged the beast in battle, though agent Utada was critically injured and temporarily lost the use of her right arm by the Dragon's breath weapon. With a combination of diversionary tactics, and a holy spell from agent Carmichael, the Dragon was eventually slain, and the agents made their way into the church.

Once inside the church, an unnatural darkness had taken hold of it. As agents sought to find the source, they were assaulted by a Hellhound. This beast attacked the group, leading to a direct encounter with agent Motonari, while agent Carmichael was stabbed in the back by a man clad in black armor, and poisoned. As the fight began between them, agent Harvey healed the other agents, with the black knight consistently upping the ante with divine-empowered spells (according to agent Carmichael). Eventually, the agents prevailed, and the Hellhound was felled. The man said they could chase him, or save the clergymen from the hellhounds he'd summoned earlier. They chose to let him go to go save them, at which point Cid's troops made their way in the town, the miasma of darkness having been lifted.

Operation #177: Wisdom of the Streets

• Description: A powerful body-enhancing drug called GLOW has resurfaced in town. Riots have broken out, and the police need PARADIGM's help to recover the samples.

Agent Hokage said he'd find one of the other locations and, if necessary, burn everything there. The other agents were accosted by various thugs, but the Wilds, their target, only started getting in their way when they got to the subway. The agents fought their way through them, and along the subway as well, where they were 'arrested' by Officer Cherry, a crooked cop. After fighting their way past her, the agents made their way to a high school in an advanced state of urban decay, despite still technically being active. Fighting their way there past Kung Fu Hookers, the agents encountered their pimp/Sifu, Sweet Daddy.

Despite his profession, he proved himself to be fairly dangerous, and managed to slow down agents enough for his Kung Fu Hookers to find a stash of GLOW hidden under the school, as agent Hokage mentioned they had already left the Church when he got there. The rest of the Wilds, including their leader, Elan, and his bodyguard, Chinaman arrived, and released some of their already enhanced members, GLOW Freaks, onto PARADIGM agents. Despite PARADIGM's superior skill and strength, the tirelessness and resilience of the GLOW powered gang bangers proved enough to stun and harm agents O'Toole and Uchiha. After a quick and dirty skirmish, the agents managed to defeat the Freaks and destroy the GLOW, while agent Hokage burned their truck after showing up. Their leader was forced to flee.

They met up with Adrian, an Iron Clan Werewolf and got the details of the mission. Katalin has gotten hold of a magical artifact that can generate a red mist taht blocks out the sun. She was using it to prey on the town of Wygol! Thankfully Our agents stormed the town. They encountered several familiar enemies including Titania, Nercomancer, And Astrid. Each battle was short in sweet as the agents easily over powered there foes. Even Katalin Was felled quickly ..strangely enough. This left some of the agents with doubts that that was the real Katalin, but they had no time to investigate the matter, Sealing the artifact and then quickly approached by a Dark Mage going by the name of Alicia Aulin .. the group had mixed feelings .. she reeked of ancient primordial magics .. but she was also an Aulin, and possible surviving menber of Cassandra's Family. She seemed to just observe the group for a moment .. before vanishing.

Operation #179: God Bless The Ring

Tournament: Agents arrived, and with Mr. Howard's push, they were entered past the elimination rounds. Individual battles were beginning to take place, with agents going in different brackets, at least in agent Uchiha's case. She was defeated in an instant by her opponent, a man called Raidou. Agent Sumeragi was the first in her bracket to be called to fight, against the mercenary, Blackball. It was a difficult fight, due to the mercenary's cybernetics, but agent Sumeragi pulled through. Following this, agent Dreyar was called out to fight against Angel de La Muerte, who opened the fight with a deceptive strike, followed by a series of brutal grapples and electric shocks, which AdlM came out on top in, despite getting seriously hurt. Agent Elric was then paired against a Spanish ninja called Diego, and despite a deceptive introduction and a brutal, skin-rending fighting style, agent Elric managed to come out on top over his opponent. Agent Kakita was pitted against a returning competitor from a previous mission, Akari Izumi of the Red Berets, with both dueling with swords, Akari's speed almost undoing but failing to defeat agent Kakita. Agent Uchiha also fought a super strong monster-man called Charnov, and agent Saicho fought against the returning competitor, Roy Caine. Around this time, the tournament was halted, due to a sudden dearth of contestants, with many leaving the rounds to go after the prize outside the tournament.

Excavation Site: Agents at this point left the tournament, and made their way into the excavation site. Once there, they found traces of the G Corporation forces, led by Kazuma Mishima, and the Red Berets. Agent Uchiha went ahead, her abilities having been sealed by her opponent, Raidou. Agents decided to follow the G Corporation forces, while she went after the Red Berets. When they met the troops, agent Sumeragi walked up and bluffed her way into their ranks, getting close to Mishima, who saw through her deception but didn't seem to care. When both groups reached the dig site, the Red Berets and G Corporation forces began fighting, with their special agents making their way to the Ehrgeiz. Raidou and Sturm Vogel then appeared, and made a beeline for the device as well. Upon touching it, however, its guardian appeared, and it was a Behemoth. Every remaining person on the field turned to fight the Behemoth in a brutal battle, especially when the beast cast Meteor, damaging everyone. With assistance from their enemies, Raidou, Akari and Mishima, the agents however, managed to defeat the Behemoth, after which agent Sumeragi immediately kicked the Erhgeiz into a pit casting it into the depths of time, causing the source of everyone's fighting to get taken off the field. With bruised prides, everyone retreated back to where they came from, and agents left back to the Inn.

Simple and short, Our agents received orders from Gray to head to Moscow to save a stranded squad. They went there to recon the recent communications blackout and found that it was more then just a power failure.. Now, caught behind enemy lines with no way home, they needed to survive long enough to be evacuated. Thankfully Our agents made quick work of the enemy and using some tactical thinking .. managed to pull Alpha squad out of the war zone with out having to deal with the main enemy forces.

Captain Gray Maynard briefed the agents on the current situation. They wished to enter the X-Com Moscow complex and find out why no one had mounted a counter offensive against the 'Outsider' invasion there. This time 3 squads would be on this mission, Two from X-Com and one from PARADIGM.After getting information on what they might face. Maynard's Team as well as the PARADIGM team headed into the complex. Paria noted that she could only sense 2 other people here in the facility, which was strange cause Gray mentioned they saw a lot of movement on there scanners.. The base seemed to be ransacked. Bodies lay strewn about the floor, covered in goo and with ripped out necks. once trying to proceed deeper into the X-Com Labs to find Lita Sokolova, the lead researcher here, as well as her researcher. The bodies of the deceased started to spring back to life like zombies, though quickly gunned down by the group .. one of them exploded released small insect like creatures scurrying about the place much to Venus Highwind distaste, as she had recently dealt with creatures of a similar nature in a recent mission.

They continued forward into the Hanger where they encountered Thin Men, Aliens that look similar to us but are very tall and lanky. A firefight between our crew and theirs issued. Keiko Langley Ikari attempted to rush one of the aliens to get into melee with them, passing though a cloud of strange green blue gas they release. Keiko hit the ground almost instantly in a coughing fit. Jacqueline "Jackal" Egret quickly rushed out from her cover to retrieve the downed PARADIGM Agent, with cover fire from the other agents. The Fire fight concluded with the downfall of the Thin Men.

Taking the elevator down into the sub levels, Mori Motonari discovered the crates they where riding with where full of Laser Pistols. Some of the group decided to arm themselves with the tech weapons. Once reaching the lower levels they encountered much larger versions of the insect monsters they saw on the upper floors, Chryssalids, Rushed by a swarm of them, our agents quickly took cover and proceeded to mow then down with gun fire. Moving quickly to one of the labs, they found Doctor Lita Sokolova as well as her brother Alex. After another small fight with more of the monsters they managed to rescue both survivors and evac them to X-Com London.

Agents met with Shannon Moore, who laid out the issue at hand - a new gang has been aggressively taking territories in The End, known as the Malheureux Family. Upon getting orders to check them out, Agents managed to track down three of them in a warehouse - Cynthia (a gun user that utilized several trick shots and multiple users), Reese (a gifted telekinetics user) and Steven (a technological practitioner), all three Malheureux. A hostage was unfortunately lost, but the perpetrators fled the scene, noting the probable displeasure of one Myra Malheureux, who may be the head of the family.

A building was found, and on the request of Shannon, surveillance was set up and the site was marked without further pursuit. Mission successful, though nothing's been heard lately...

Once Dojo Kanojo Cho discovered the presence of another Shen Gong Wu, the Sword of the Storm, they set off toward it, with Agents Hayate and Seiya suggesting they ambush Jack Spicer's gang and use his jet to track down The Mandarin. The Agents landed on a hill near where the Gang was searching and quickly confronted them, defeating them with ease and taking the Sword of the Storm from Jack Spicer Jr. when he tried to escape. Although Jack Spicer refused to divulge The Mandarin's whereabouts, Katnappé gave up the location as Chase Young's former lair readily enough.

Arriving at the lair, Agents were confronted by The Mandarin who boasted an impressive array of skills and Shen Gong Wu, but the efforts of the Agents forced him to call upon Absolution. They fought a protrated battle, where Absolution member Raidou disabled Miyabi in an underground battle against her Mokuton and Shannon in a head-to-head confrontation while Seiya and Hayate worked on disabling Edgar Shinra's Super 8 robot with a combination of Seiya's gravity attacks and Hayate's direct assault. Agent Seiya also managed to disarm The Mandarin of his Golden Tiger Claws and his armor, revealing Absolution member Sturm Vogel, while Takeo and Faustlin confronted Raidou.

With the battle reaching a stalemate, the Super 8 deployed dummy tactical nukes which burrowed into the chamber floor. As the others escaped, Vogel took the prone Shannon as a hostage for surety, despite the assiduous protests of the PARADIGM Agents, but left instead with Agent Faustlin when he volunteered himself.

The Agents called in reinforcements for their wounded, removed the remnants of the Super 9 and the missiles and returned the Golden Tiger Claws to the Xiaolin Temple.

Operation #184: Fire from the Sky

The Mission was pretty cut and dry on directives. Go in, clear out the store front, grab the civilians and evac. Plain and simple. Our Agents spoke with Gray Maynard to get a quick briefing of the general situation and set off. An extended fire fight between the group and the Outsider forces. The Agents employed tactics to out flank the enemy as well as used Armor piercing rounds to quickly put down there foes. After that they cleared the building and called in the Skyranger for evac, Overall a completely successful mission.

Daven Van Dungen contacted PARADIGM, admittedly in desperation, due to the loss of an Admiral. The secure storage facility was being assaulted by an enemy of unknown origin, an only recently active pirate who made herself a pest in the last six months. The defenses were clearly not going to hold, and they were after the Mark IV Pacifistas, the latest and most powerful of Marine Combat Cyborgs. Van Dungen explained how dangerous they were, and even gave the agents leeway to destroy them if absolutely necessary. Agents took his passes to prove they were allies of the Marines, but they ended up not being useful. Making their way into the complex, they saw that many of the Marines were burned or electrocuted, and the impregnable gate had been blown apart by a technique like Bakusai Tenketsu.

Inside the facility, they were almost ambushed by two ninjas, but quick reaction on the part of every agent made them fail and took them out of the fight, despite their apparent immortality. They found a tunnel leading into the depths of the facilities, and agents Saotome and Kakita made their way ahead. Unfortunately, agent Kakita's lack of stealth gave away their position, and they encountered four previous model Pacifistas, already under the enemy's command. The near invincible Cyborgs proved to be incredibly tough and hard to fight, even causing damage to those who hit them, but agent Dreyar's powers proved to shut them down almost immediately. Agents then proceeded to the Pacifista IV storage room.

Within the room, they found Orochimaru II, Kimiko Yukioka and Eisu Kaken, attempting to figure how to use the Pacifistas. Ordering Eisu, an unknown, to hold them off, the agents were confronted with a man made of fire with superhuman physical abilities. While he seemed reluctant to fight them, he still did so with his full strength, under orders by the Impure World Reincarnation Justu. While agents Seta and Kakita squared off against Kimiko Yukioka, those who took the damage made their way past Eisu, leaving agents Saotome and Dreyar to face him, and agents Motonari, Hibiki and Uchiha to face Orochimaru.

Orochimaru dispatched a Pacifista to deal with agents Uchiha and Uzumaki, and impaled agent Motonari. The battle with Eisu became more than agents Dreyar and Saotome could handle, while agents Kakita and Seta incapacitated Yukioka, at the cost of their health. After the Pacifista was handled by agent Uchiha, agent Uzumaki joined in the fight with Eisu, only to also get blown away by him. Agent Saotome used her technique to turn Eisu's flames against him, blasting him and the entire area away in a cold energy torrent, destabilizing Orochimaru, who made her escape as her time had run out, with Marine reinforcements on the way. The remaining agents disposed of the Pacifista, but she had escaped. The Mark IV models were left unharmed, and the agents were debriefed by Admiral Smoker, before heading home.

Operation #187: We Are On The Cruise! (Campaign)

Encounter One: Agents took some time to get used to the Grand Line, and lucked out by traveling to a clandestine port where two members of The Dread Pirates were getting supplies. Agents started after them, but were blocked by Suiko. Agents spread out to take out the Pirates and Suiko, but unfortunately for them, it was a diversion, as once they got the upper hand, Cleavage and Ikazuko appeared and blasted every PARADIGM agent, the ninja letting her allies escape, and holding off the agents with lightning clones. After a quick but brutal struggle, agents managed to subdue her, then brought back her parts to the Victorious Secret. Agent Fatima suggested tracking her link to her siser/double.

Encounter Two: Tracking the Dread Pirates' ship, the Wreaking Havoc, to Mock Town, agents made their way into the forest, where Orochimaru II was planning something. Agents engaged in a battle with the Dread Pirates, including Suzuki and L'Amour, which led to something of a free for all, as Scarecrow was sniping at them until agent Saotome took out his spotter bird. Unfortunately, Warrior turned into a cat person, which caused agent Saotome to lose her focus, leading her to fight and singlehandedly defeat her and wound her arm. Agent Uchiha paralyzed L'Amour after he took out agent Fatima, and agent Langley had to catch her. Agent Uzumaki took down his form after agent Uchiha went after Orochimaru II, who had just raised the pirate Blackbeard, owner of the Dark Dark Fruit. Between him and Eisu Kaken, and Orochimaru teleporting away, the Dread Pirates made their escape. After recovering, agents were back on the cruise.

Encounter Three: Tracking Suiko to Marineford, the site of Mission #186, agent Fatima picked up Marines whose ships had gotten sunk by the Dread Pirates. After an initial disagreement, agents Uzumaki and Motonari showed their Marine passes, which calmed down Captain Shiba. Making their way to the Marine base, they charged ahead, with agents following them. The pirates Crusher and Suzuki were there, but Orochimaru this time was counting on Blackbeard and Eisu to handle the agents. A fight broke out while she was busy dealing with the Marine Tashigi, with agents rapidly getting overwhelmed by Blackbeard throwing agent Dreyar's lightning and agent Langley's bullets back at agent Fatima.

Agent Kakita managed to stun Blackbeard, but by then Eisu began to fight the agents as well. Agent Langley summoned Pandemona, which blew the unconscious Blackbeard into the sea. Orochimaru then had to take the battle herself, while agents Uzumaki and Seta had to fight against Eisu. The battle was fierce and brutal, with Orochimaru using a psychic takedown on agent Fatima, who managed to keep chanting her prayer through the haze, allowing her to keep Whitebeard (her target) and Eisu from being used by the Impure World Reincarnation jutsu. At this point, Orochimaru had to flee, stating her goal was the King of Pirates, Gol D. Roger. With agent Saotome's powers as a Water Dragon helping, the Victorious Secret was on its way to Loguetown.

Encounter Four: After many days of pursuit, agents had to navigate the Victorious Secret up Reverse Mountain to make their way up and then back down in East Blue. With teamwork and effort, they made their way down back to the town closest to the Grand Line, Loguetown. Arriving there, many Marine ships were sunk, with the Dread Pirates guarding the docks. Bloodsucker, Cook, Cancion, Scarecrow and Succubus were keeping the port from being swarmed with Marines, but the agents made relatively quick work of them, with Cook being the only really dangerous one. Running into the center of town, they found a Four Point Barrier Jutsu where Gol D. Roger was executed, and some of the Dread Pirates, including Captain Havoc, L'Amour, and Suzuki. A battle began, with Captain Havoc taking down half the agents with a single gaze, and agents Saotome, Uchiha and Uzumaki crushing the barrier's pillar, exposing Orochimaru and Suiko, as well as the corpse of Gol D. Roger, whom she tried to absorb.

Almost immediately, agents Saotome and Uzumaki destroyed the barrier, knocking Orochimaru away, with agent Hibiki launching Uzumaki at her, breaking the contact she had with the corpse, and disturbing the ritual she had prepared, and costing her an arm. Agent Hibiki immediately blasted her on the way down, which she rose from while covered in scales. During this time, Captain Havoc's technique died down, and he singlehandedly fought agents Uchiha & Kakita, while L'Amour had to be defeated with Seastone and agent Swiftblade's Cold Gun. Agent Hibiki managed to take down Suzuki as well, leading the group to have an all out fight against Orochimaru, now empowered and snake-like. Her Shadow Clones caused some damage among people, but agents destroyed them, then focused on her. After several minutes of intense battle, with her losing several body parts and costing herself the snake Manda, she was cornered.

Agent Uchiha proceeded to burn her alive, but during her last moments, she struck everyone present with a powerful mind-crushing psychic attack, having them experience her death and memories as she passed on. Captain Havoc was, during this time, busily clashing with agent Uzumaki and his many clones. After fighting past them, he was about to resume the battle, but then was struck down by the King of Pirates, Monkey D. Luffy. The Straw Hats met with the Spiral Dragons, and invited them to a celebration when they were back on their feet, but agents had to be taken in for medical examinations. Orochimaru II is currently confirmed as deceased.

Operation #188: Wu's Responsible For This?!

Due to the nature of their new unseen foe, the Masters elected to remain and guard the temple while PARADIGM Agents were to be used to retrieve lost Shen Gong Wu and hopefully recover the stolen ones.

Loaning them the use of the Ancient Scroll of the Shen Gong Wu and the aid of Dojo Kanojo Cho and Brick Bailey, Agents tracked the first object to a mountain valley in Tibet, inexplicably green and warm. After a fruitless search, the Agents hid when Jack Spicer arrived with a fleet of robots, then ambushed him when he attempted to raze the valley. After a prolonged battle, the robots were defeated and Agent Uchiha retrieved the Mantis Flip Coin from a birds nest.

Afterward, the group traveled to the Mongolian plains, in search of the Two Ton Tunic. However, when they arrived, all the villagers were wearing what looked to be the same one. Agent Sumeragi attempted to obtain one from the village Tailor, but it was an ordinary tunic. The Tailor explained the real tunic was the village's treasure, and would only be found by one who proved themselves worthy. Discouraged, the Agents investigated the town further, when Agent Sumeragi encountered the overweight ninja Tubbimura, managing to cleverly distract him from stealing tunics and leading him away from town. Tubbimura also mentioned someone called The Mandarin, who had offered a large reward for any captured Shen Gong Wu. Meanwhile, Agent Tonic and Brick Bailey faced the arrogant cat burglar, Katnappe, defeating her after a short battle with the aid of Agent Sumeragi. Having driven off the thieves, the villagers presented the Agents with the Two Ton Tunic for having shown their worth.

Upon returning to the Temple, the Xiaolin Masters asked the Agents to keep the Shen Gong Wu they had recovered for safe keeping, and asked them to take Brick as well, having already enrolled him in PARADIGM without his knowing. Brick was promoted to Xiaolin Apprentice, and the Agents were dispatched with promises of another call, likely soon.

Operation #189: Rock and a Hard Place

• Description: Youkai have somehow acquired a portable cross-dimensional gate generator. They could use it to bypass Reikai's laws, so it must be recovered. Humans preferred. Dimensional Disturbance Detected.

Agents were directed to a mountain where a castle lay on top. Several lower class monsters attacked them, attempting to wipe them out, but they were rapidly routed. However, it exposed the agents to the powers of Chigusa, a powerful Earth-controlling Youkai, who attempted to rock slide them into non-existence. The agents managed to get to the top, and through magical abilities and spiritual attacks, dispatched the being, though he ran away. Later, into the castle, agents encountered a trap but avoided it, managing to bypass Sunako, a youkai with the power to control and turn into sand. After blowing her away, they made their way into a dueling chamber, where a younger youkai was waiting for them, Koppu, who was covered in glass, using it as a weapon. Together with his siblings, the three youkai fought the agents, with agent Jones's Telekinesis mitigating the glass attacks and agent Uchiha's brute strength supplanting Chigusa's own. Agent Suzumura's blade slew Sunako, but all agents were in a rather hurt situation.

This is where Gennosuke Shuku stepped in. He had given the youkai a Portal Spawner device (see agents Masaki and Saotome for ref.), and said it was to attract PARADIGM's attention. He had an offer for them, involving working together with him to stop the being he was seemingly going to be bound to, a 'god' of destruction that operates under many names, such as 'Nemesis' and 'Volkruss'. Dr. Shuku explained that he had wanted to contact them as they could impede his gathering of power, and if he couldn't destroy the being, then he would end up having to fight them at the creature's side. Giving agent Fontaine the device and detailed information on what he had done about the DNA scanner imbedded in it, as well as a way to contact him, he left, and agents took the device back to Seeing Time.

Operation #190: Jingle Hell! A Kuno Holiday Mayhem Special

• Description: The Kuno's have decided to throw an extravagant party for the Holidays and want the PARADIGM agents there. While to the Kuno's this might seem like a regular party, there is a big chance that some uninvited out-worldly guests will show up to try to ruin it.

Agents went into the Deimos facility, originally seeming like a simple one way trip. There was only one open path, the escape protocols having been activated, leading from the entrance to the bottom of the facility. After some disturbing imagery of employees and soldiers found mutilated, agents encountered some of the dead soldiers, wandering about and attempting to kill them. Agents dispatched the enemies rather quickly, before making their way down to the stairs. Once there, they were besieged by more strange beings, including flaming skulls, Imps, and spherical horrors. Agents had to fight their way down to the core of the facility, with the power still barely functional. After establishing a blockade, agents were able to get to the bottom.

The bottom level had a completely different layout. The walls were now made of earthen-like material, and more of the spherical horrors were about. Where there should've been the ceiling, there was instead a cloudy, red sky. As agents made their way into the hellish landscape, they found themselves confronted by a massive, cybernetic demon, whom agent Sumeragi held off on her own, as the others made their way for the one notable landmark, a door in the middle of nowhere. Once inside, they were in an M.C. Escher-like room, where more of the flaming skulls were after them. A soothing music with a somber undertone was playing on their way up to the end of this maze.

Once they got to the top, they found themselves in a completely normal looking control room, other than the permeating sound playing, with full power functions. A quick survey saw that almost all the power in the facility was directed to the next room, which was obscured by an odd 'mist-like' form, revealing the shape of a man, but allowing agents through. After working on the computers for a moment, and letting agent Sumeragi rejoin, agent Brea attempted to Scan the figure, resulting in her losing her eyesight. Agents saw they had to shut down the drain on power from the teleporter, and stepped into the room regardles of who was there, where they encountered Dexter Curwen, watching a well where several souls were escaping.

Curwen did little to explain himself, simply allowing the nature of the place to summon more of the cybernetic demons to attack the agents, while he was playing with a little box. Agents broke out into a battle against the giant demons and Curwen, the fight being brutal, considering the demons' ability to take punishment, and Curwen's seeming immortality and phenomenal power. However, before long, he chose to run from the agents, using his own portal generator, from the Devil Arm he was using. Agents then managed to seal off the Hellgate before more of those large demons appeared, allowing for the power to resupply the facility. Agents, wounded from the fight, then called the Epoch to head back to the Inn.

Operation #193: Showcase Showdown

Agents were flown by Dojo Kanojo Cho to ruins in Thailand. Surveying the ruins, they quickly found the Star Hanabi, when they were confronted by two new enemies, Chase Young and Shadow.

Chase turned out to be a powerful dragon, and attempted to keep the group busy while Shadow stole the other Shen Gong Wu, but was confronted by Hayate Uzumaki. The others attempted to stop Shadow, and a protracted battle commenced. After defeating Shadow and driving off Chase, the Agents entered the ruins and found the Fist of Tebigong, but were confronted by Chase yet again.

He challenged Izumi Saotome to a Shaolin Showdown - a one-on-one contest of skill - in this case, pin the tail on the dragon. Chase toyed with her for a while and showed little interest in the contest, but at the moment of Izumi's victory, she discovered he had somehow fooled her with a substitution technique.

Despite claiming victory, Chase returned the Star Hanabi and the Fist of Tebigong, though kept the Lotus Twister he had wagered. He claimed only to have been studying them, and seemed to imply their true enemy was an outsider like themselves. Having acquired the Shen Gong Wu, the Agents returned to the Inn, only to find out later there had indeed been a third Shen Gong Wu in another location...

Operation #194: Why So Serious?

• Description: Pure chaos has erupted across Gotham City, with Blackgate and Arkham's denizens freed somehow. PARADIGM's presence has been requested in the city.

Arriving in the city, the agents were met by Nightwing, who told them that whoever had orchestrated the breakouts at Blackgate and Arkham had sent a message to the GCPD requesting that PARADIGM be brought in. Detailing that there were bombs all over the city, and every hero and villain was out in gangland style turf wars, he asked them to help stem the tide while being public about it, to show they had been contacted. Agent Hokage left on his own, while the other agents went to deal with the gang warfare. Encountering Venom using followers of Bane, agents quickly dispatched them, but were made to see firsthand the effects of the designer drug Venom, including super strength and resilience.

Following a trail to a church, they encountered Bane, who after taking the first hit, was revealed to be Clayface. Agents began fighting against him, only to be ambushed by the mercenary Deathstroke. Agents split up to fight between the Super Soldier and the shapeshifter, with the heavy hitters taking on Clayface and those with more skills taking on Deathstroke. The latter escaped after trading blows for a moment, saying he had what he needed, leaving Clayface alone to deal with them. After being superheated and then shattered, Clayface was prevented from reforming, leading agents to find a flying drone observing them. From the drone came a message, from a very disturbing individual.

The Joker said he didn't know why they were there, but wanted to see what the fuss was. Leaving a very poor riddle as a hint of where he was (Ace Chemicals), he said he'd hijacked the bombs over the city and would detonate them if he wasn't found soon, out of boredom. Agents immediately made their way to the chemical plant, where they found many of the exterior guards already dead. Making their way inside, they were besieged by special forces soldiers wearing clown masks, which the agents dispatched rapidly. However, agent Uchiha was found gassed by one of the clown masks when she went to look on one of the dying soldiers, and agents Paria and Jones had started finding things funny. Making their way deeper into the chemical plant, avoiding the strange vats all over, they found themselves in the middle of a three way brawl, between Deathstroke, Bane, and Lady Shiva, with the Joker standing on the chemical vat overpass with a detonator in hand, laughing hysterically at the scene.

The three supervillains squared off against the agents, with agent [[Seiya Sumeragi|Sumeragi] trying to break off to go meet the Joker, agent Hibiki facing Lady Shiva, agent Weber rematching with Deathstroke, and agents Uchiha and Brick facing Bane. During this time, agents Paria and Jones were found unable to think coherently, and agent Minamino had returned from dealing with Poison Ivy, back in Robinson Park. Agent Sumeragi asked him to detain and pull agent Paria back, though agent Minamino started using his spells on other agents instead, leading to Paria to attack both him and Sumeragi in a blind hysteria.

Agents managed to defeat their opponents, with Lady Shiva seeking a rematch with agent Hibiki, and Deathstroke getting temporarily killed by agents Weber and Uchiha. Bane's venom was disabled by the efforts of agents Brick and Uchiha, as well, which led to his defeat. When agents Sumeragi and Hibiki confronted the Joker, after Paria had been subdued, they attempted to take the detonator from him, but he had it activated. After a moment, nothing happened, which the Joker said had been an elaborate joke. He attempted to get away from the agents, when he was stopped on the way out by The Batman. Wasting no time, the Joker was knocked out, and Deathstroke apprehended. With some discussion, agents and Batman figured that the person responsible for this was Lex Luthor, which Batman said he'd keep hem appraised of, then sent them on their way. Agent Hokage returned, having confirmed his defeat of Firefly on the bridge.

Houten gathered our heroes, bestowing them with sealed scrolls, marking them as his deputies lest there be trouble in the Imperial City. Upon arrival, we caught sight of the end of a parade leading up to the Imperial palace, where the Empress Iweko I was completing her yearly shihohai ritual, in which she prays in solitude for good tidings for the empire over the next year. Soon the gates opened, allowing smallfolk and samurai alike to come hear what the gods told the empress. Houten departed the party at this point, instructing agents to look for a man that looked like him and detain him.

Soon after he left, agents found and challenged the tainted warrior Daigotsu Higemori, and his companion, the blood mage Chuda Kusaku. Agents quickly engaged, keeping Higemori on the defensive and quickly dispatching Kosaku. However, with his dying breath Kosaku called forth an Oni and gave it his own name to allow it to have permanency on the mortal plane. Soon after, Higemori submitted, thinking he'd won the day and that if the oni did not escape and kill the empress, Goju assassins he brought along would. However with help from Agent Kakita the Kosaku no Oni was dispatched. Daigotsu Kanpeki, the champion and lord of the Spider Clan arrived soon after and disparaged Higemori's acts as treasonous and allowed Houten to claim his right as an Emerald Magistrate and execute Higemori for conspiracy to commit regicide.

Shamash, Basileus of Liberty, informed them his time was short. Since Alexander would have to replace him, Shamash wanted to give one last gift to PARADIGM; someone to take his place.

Shamash opened a Time Gate and set the Agents back to retrieve Raven Makishima, a psychic who could aid them in this endeavors, and the past incarnation of Shamash himself.

Agents arrived in the ruins of the Tower, a structure from an advanced civilization buried underground for many centuries. As they made their way inside, they were spotted by a Drone, which Agent Sparda disabled it, but not before it broadcast an alarm. A green lit path led to the Security Room, along the way the Agents were attacked by two Tower Guardians. When Agent Sumeragi attacked one with her spear, it shifted to a melee-oriented mode, and when Agent Carmichael began using magic, the other changed into a spellcasting mode, Reflecting magic and countering with spells. Agents Sumeragi and Sparda concentrated on one while the other Agents focussed on the other, Agent Benezia T'Soni using her Biotics to slow and weaken it while Agents Masaki and Carmichael engaged it in melee and isolated its weak points. While the three of them managed to destroy the one, Agents Sparda and Saotome managed to disable the other with a combination attack, assisted by Agent Minamino.

The Agents continued on to Security, disabling more Drones, but were unable to access the computers there, due to a fault in Central Processing. Arriving at the Central Processing unit, they discovered that the fault was that the Central Processor, presumably Raven himself, had disappeared, and no crew remained to authorize a replacement. Heading to Processor Storage, the Agents found a series of clones, and one they believed to be the original. Releasing him from the storage unit, they proceeded to the medlab, and escaped back to the present time through a wormhole there.

Upon their arrival, Shamash collapsed from overuse of the Crown of Swords, presumably in critical condition. When Alexander then attempted to use it, the feedback overwhelmed him, and the Agents had a brief but bloody encounter with an Avatar of Molten Rage. Through the combined efforts of the Agents, Agent Sparda was able to weaken him enough for Agent Masaki to remove the Crown, subduing him.

Afterwards, the Lady Cassandra thanked them for their efforts and apologized for the trouble they were caused, before they returned to the Inn in the Epoch.

Operation #198: I'm a Bad, Bad Man

• Synopsis: Agents arrived at the Capsule Corp., where they were greeted by Bulma Briefs and her family. With a quick rundown, agents learned of an inter-dimensional creature which had taken over their pool and computer system.

The client led the agents into the computer room, where a simulator program was being developed based on this world's inhabitants' enemies, for PARADIGM use. This being an inter-dimensional being, PARADIGM had been contacted. Agents were then told that to deal with the creature, they would need to fight through the corrupted program files in the simulator. Agents agreed, and began their battle against a powerful elite squad of aliens, each capable of incredible, specialized abilities. Agents endured a grueling battle, taking them on mostly one versus one. When the enemies were dispatched, it was revealed that the more they defeated the simulators, the weaker the being's biotic shield held up.

After those three came three new beings, much more powerful than the previous squad, which attacked the agents. Another narrow victory against those beings exposed the being, which all agents simultaneously defeated. After the fight, the client's son offered them special beans, which healed agents completely. Agents then received a disk with these combat programs for the simulator, and came home.
