Personality

A kind and caring person by nature, Musashi really enjoys being around people. He loves listening to conversations and trying to help people with any problems they have. He dislikes fighting but has learned a variety of ways to protect people from harm. He is extremely friendly and tries to make friends with absolutely anyone he meets, although he can be turned off by very obnoxious people. He is almost always smiling and always seems to have a positive attitude about life.


Background

Raised to respect life and respect Clan Kuu's visions, Musashi learned a great deal from his father and mother and his grandfather, Kukai. He was given the Shikigami Madougu from his father when he turned 14 and has utilized it since then. He was taught to only fight in the defense of others and never for his own gain. He was trained every day of his life to defend the honor of Clan Kuu as well as respect for all people of Japan. He was told that if he ever raised a fist against another, it must have a reason and never be out of spite or vengeance. To this end, he learned how to manipulate paper to use as a shield against blows and as a weapon to protect others. Likewise, he was taught how to fight even without Shikigami, in the event that he could not use it for whatever reason. He trained his body and mind to be both graceful and accurate, so that his blows landed only where they needed to.

Special Abilities

Musashi is a black belt in karate, tae kwon do, jujitsu and aikido. Without his Madogu, Musashi fights at close range with his arms and legs and does not employ any kind of ranged weapons.

  • (1) Code of Honor: Honorable Combat. Musashi will, under no circumstances, attack someone before he or his allies have been attacked first. There must be a clear and present threat to either himself or his allies for him to take any offensive action. He also refuses to participate in any sort of surprise attack on someone. They must be perfectly aware of the situation, he does not attack anyone except in front of their eyes.

Unique Items

  • Shikigami Madougu:

Handed down to him by his father, the Shikigami Madogu allows the manipulation of any sort of paper. The paper must first be given ki energy to manipulate, which means he cannot affect paper over twenty feet away from his body, as that is where the Madogu is.

  • Paper Armor - Musashi wraps himself in paper at all times, which allows him to shield his body from blows by turning the paper into a hardened material.
  • Paper Weapons - Musashi can form the paper into any sort of weapon he chooses and make it malleable at his will. The weapon is as strong as the amount of ki he puts into it, so it can be as soft as silk or as hard as any other sort of metal.
  • Ki Imbue: Paper - Musashi can imbue his ki into any sort of paper and utilize it. This means he can throw a piece of paper and cause it to explode at his will.

Due to its nature, paper is rather easily defeated by fire and water. If an opponent utilizes these techniques it will eventually wear him out as he has to concentrate on keeping the paper powered for fighting.

Likewise, he must imbue the paper with his energy, so longer fights are not his strength.
