Appearance

Jaden looks much like his father, having short, semi-spiky black hair and ice blue eyes. He wears heavy - sometimes weighted - robes most of the time when spellcasting or on missions, but casually he will wear a button-up shirt with a pair of slacks. His build is pretty muscled due to the robes.

Personality

Jaden is usually a calm, logical man, but when his temper sparks he starts to lose that cool and becomes somewhat frenzied. During a fight he will switch to using a lot of quick fire attacks. He's a curious man, and will try to figure out how some things work. He can put things back together just as he found them. He isn't quite as gifted as his father is with mind reading, so tries to get to know people on a personal level and discerns how they feel with empathy.

Background

His father is one of the strongest mind mages of all time, while his mother is a renowned fire mage. Throughout their travels, Jace and Chandra were rivals turned allies, teaming up for the greater good. One of these teamups resulted in a one night stand, and after 10 agonizing months for Chandra, being unable to unleash her fiery fury onto the world, Jaden was born. Though they never married, they both oversaw their son's upbringing and trained him in both red and blue schools of Magic. During a training exercise, Jaden and his father were trianing a little too hard, and just before JAce nearly wiped his son's memory, his planeswalker spark ignited and transported him to Innistrad. Jace was astonished that his son was also a planeswalker since it's not necessarily hereditary. From here Jace and Chandra started taking him on missions, until he was old enough to travel on his own. His mother gave him a Phoenix as a gift, which he now controls and can harness as a powerful ally. He has run across the planeswalker Vaelgir Stormblade before, mostly during friendly times. But now that he has heard Vaelgir is missing, has gone to search for him in the plane of Alara.

Seal of Fire - Similar to a Naruto exploding tag, can be remotely detonated.
Illusion- Can take on the appearance of another, or generate the appearance of others near him. A Genjutsu in essence.
Hi-yah!- Basic martial arts, rarely used since he fights with his fire and water/ice.

Red Magic - Chaos and Impulse. Contains popular spells such as fire and lightning. Jaden uses spells from this color such as:

• Fireball - which he can charge up to make more powerful. Pretty similar to firebending, and nearly as versatile.
• Chandra's Phoenix - A large bird engulfed in flames that can fly and attack in the air. The bird goes down easily but she can be revived/summoned to Jaden from any fire. Is also his pet whose mundane form is that of a much smaller bird.

Blue Magic - Logic and Technology. Contains popular spells involving water and illusions.

• Water Jet- Also can be charged to be more powerful. Can also create ice. Pretty much a waterbender too, so this actually requires water present.
• Counterspell- Can counter other spells pending a roll-off. Can only be done twice per mission.

Red and Blue- Controlled Chaos.

• Magefire Wings- Creates a strange combination of fire and water wings that spread from his back. Can fly like an angel. Illustrated here: [1]
• Fire and Water- Make steam. Can manipulate fire and water simultaneously.
• Fire Armor and Ice Armor - See Heavy Robes.

Planeswalker Spark- Can switch to different planes like Vaelgir Stormblade.

Items Of Note

Heavy Robes- These heavy robes have many pockets in them, the pockets are used to hold armorings, which are lightweight and by themselves can't take much punishment, but Jaden can encase them in his own ice, making them extra resilient and can keep him cool in the heat. The added weight due to the plates also keeps him quite fit and strong. Heat can be applied to the plates to warm him as well, but this makes him vulnerable, but enemies attacking him may receive damage from the heat.
