Appearance
- Being rather short in height, Tonic has a petite yet curvy body that she hides under layers of clothing. She wears a long sleeved cheongsam that is deep red with golden trim, black loose fitting pants and light weight shoes with black socks that go up her ankle. Her hair is usually tied up in a bun or in rings somehow. Her hair is really long raven black hair, with deep purple eyes that she lines with red makeup along the top to match the red lipstick she tends to wear.
Personality
- She is as nice as an amazon can get, yet still tricky and deceiving, since it's somewhat the nature of her family. She'll try to help people when needed, but will also try to get things the way she wants them, as it's a matter of pride.
Background
- There's not much to explain here. She was raised by her mother, and grandmother, mostly. When she got older, she got the travel bug in her. The itch for adventure! So, without asking permission, she has fled from her home village and gone to travel the world. Things are possibly not going to go her way, though, as she's underage and away without permission. She didn't ENTIRELY just run away, but she didn't want to stay home for the reasons of boredom.

Special Abilities
- Dim Mak: Tonic trained in the use of Dim Mak, the legendary fighting style of hitting pressure points and other such areas of the body, which can incapacitate people, or possibly kill them. Mind you, she never goes for the kill, and would rather not fight all the time, so making it where the other person CAN'T fight is right up her alley.
- Amazon Fighting Style: Aside from that, she has some fighting style from her mother, as well as father. She can dual wield most amazon weapons, like Shampoo can; and carry a LOT of weapons on her, discretely, somehow, like her father can. Her specialty in dual wielding is usually swords, but a lot of weapons can work in a quick fix.
- Chi Training: Since Tonic's failure at the tournament, she was taken back to china to train with her mother Shampoo. Not being taught any techniques, she was told to develop some moves on her own, after being taught some basic training on how to manipulate one's chi. Since bonding with her tarot card, her chi seems to be aligning with the element of ice.
- Sixth Sense (Chi/Ki): Since she began training, she is now able to sense and feel chi/ki, like many others that fight using this energy type.
- Katchu Tenshin Amiguriken: A technique to improve speed and reflexes overall, but also capable of throwing a number of punches in the moment of a single strike. Tonic can also augment this with dragon's flame or dragon's breath for a melee or ranged series of strikes with her chi.
- Hiryu Shoten Ha: The ability to draw someone into a spiral of their own heated energy and then blow them away with a explosion of 'cool'. Tonic is very adept at this ability considering her ice type chi attacks she already uses.
- Ryuken (Dragon Strike): She charges her punches and kicks with chi, hitting twice as hard as she usually would on her own.
- Ryuken Kanki (Dragon Frost Strike): This variant of the attack comes with a chill to it, freezing upon impact or causing cold damage.
- Ryuken Hi (Dragon Light Strike): This variant of the attack channels hamon, imbued with the brightness of the sun itself.
- Ibuki Seishou (Breath of Energy): A concentration of chi in her fist that fires off at an enemy, to hit them from a ranged distance. This does moderate damage.
- Ibuki Shimo (Breath of Frost): This variant of the attack comes with a chill to it, freezing upon impact or causing cold damage.
- Ibuki Hizashi (Breath of Sunlight): This variant of the attack channels hamon, imbued with the brightness of the sun itself.
- Taiyōken (Fist of the Sun): She channels energy into her hands and claps them together, causing an explosion of sunlight that will fill an area up with light immediately, causing those who are looking directly at her or in the proximity to possibly be stunned from the sheer brightness of the attack. This causes no damage normally, unless you're affected negatively by sunlight itself.
Makai Training
- Tonic trained with Hadoka, learning the ways of the Makai Priests. With this, she learned:
- The ability to repair madou items and weapons.
- The ability to sense things of the Makai realm in the human realm, such as spirits that normal humans would be unable to see.
- The ability to cast spells with her Makai brushes.
- Energy Strike: With her brush, she is able to write Kanji in the air. Once the symbols are written, she sends the Kanji at an opponent like an energy strike. This is most effective against demons and horrors, but can also harm other types of enemies as well.
Items of Note:
- Madō Brush: The Madō Brush (魔導筆 Madōhitsu?) is a calligraphy brush which the Makai Priests use for various purposes, mainly as a foci for channeling magical energies into whatever the wielder is working on. The hairs of the brushes are made from pelts of Spirit Beasts, giving them the unusual magic-channeling qualities. Like many magical artifacts, their powers can weaken over time. Tonic carries two brushes with her, which she hides up her sleeves.
- Sounding Plate: The Sounding Plate (鳴札 Narifuda?) is the Makai Priests' Madō Fire generator. To use it, the Priest blows on a small spinning plate, which sends out a small orb of Madō Fire, which can be used to track Horrors or complete spells. Tonic wears this as a necklace, which she hides under her clothing til she needs it.
- Magic Clothing: The Magic Clothing (魔法衣 Mahōi?) are special attire worn by Makai practitioners. The Makai Knights tend to wear leather pants and long coats of unique coloring and design. The Makai Priests wear the Magic Clothing to identify themselves to other Makai, but they can wear clothing of their own liking, typically a dark-colored leather outfit.

- Ambidextrous (2): You are equally dextrous, or nearly so, with both hands, and use your "off" hand at no penalty.
- Concentration (1): You are very good at focusing, and suffer no penalty for distractions, stress or having to repeat yourself often.
- Crack Driver (1): Bicycle genius. +2 to bicycle related rolls.
- Good Old Boy/Girl (2): You're just a nice person, and people recognize and appreciate that. +1 Bonus on social rolls when interacting with your fellow folk.
- Graceful (2): You are extremely agile and delicate in your movements. +1 Bonus on all Athletics rolls.
- Medium (2): You have the ability to see and interact with ghosts. Sometimes, the Restless may seek you out for favors. Depending on the ghosts you meet, this could be a very good or very bad thing.

Items Of Note
Poisons
- Fire Biter: A painful non-lethal poison of bitter taste with brittle red clay appearance. It must be introduced directly to the bloodstream, causing extremely painful inflammation and swelling of joints throughout the body. It would spread like a web through the vessels blood from the wound. Its most frequent use was to be painted onto a weapon.
- Fugu: Most commonly known as Pufferfish. It was a delicacy if prepared correctly, but poisonous otherwise. The venom was contained in the fish's ovaries, and it survived through the cooking process. It caused slow, painful death if ingested. If poisoned, the victim lose all control of speech, complete paralysis and death would follow. Small doses of the poison caused a kind of paralyzation of the brain, making the victim little more than a semi-conscious zombie, capable only of involuntary actions, and it was used for kidnapping.
Weapons
- Throwing Knives: Tonic has a multitude of throwing knives, in both silver and carbon steel. She lines these with Fire Biter poison. The knives are six inches long in total.
- Butterfly Swords: Butterfly swords are short Dao swords, only about 18 inches long in total (6 inch handle with 11 1/2 inch blade), with the top half of the blade sharpened with a hand guard and secondary guard that serves as a Sai for blocking. This weapon can easily be concealed as well as having two of the blade in a single scabbard. Tonic has these in both carbon steel and silver. As close quarter swords, they serve as great tools for blocking and catching weapons. The top half of the blade is only sharpened so blunt attacks can be made with the sword in a moment's notice without causing severe injury. These weapons are also lined with Fire Biter poison.

- Flashlight: A small pocket flashlight that uses LED to compensate for its size.
- Chain with cuff: A long chain in her left sleeve that has a cuff on it to ensnare someone and lock on them when used.
- Chain with grappling hook: A long chain in her right sleeve with a grappling hook for quick climbing.
- The Kabuki Backpack: A small backpack, perfect for carrying books, laptops or other easily carried things. Its main feature however, is the stuffed panda peeking its head out of the side, as if it were carrying a real live baby panda! The backpack's colors can be adjusted, but the panda will always be a panda. It gives you the stats Adorable: OMG and Sweetness: Awww.
Weaknesses & Flaws
- Bad Sight (1): Difficulties for sight-related rolls are at -1 Penalty, and you suffer from night blindness.
- Curiosity (2): Your incredible curiosity often overrides your common sense. Resisting temptation requires a successful roll, difficulty depending on the situation.
- Deep Sleeper (1): Waking up is hard; getting you moving is hard enough (-2 on all rolls to wake up), getting you comprehending what's going on after you're up isn't much easier (Your rolls in the next few minutes.. up to 30 minutes.. are at -1.)
- Overconfident (1): You think you can do everything even though you probably can't, and you try to prove your belief as often as possible.
- Short (1): You are well below average height, and have difficulty reaching high objects, seeing over things, etc. -2 penalty to pursuit rolls. On the up side, you may get bonuses to hiding attempts.
