Appearance

A little 5'4" chick with long black hair that has random gray streaks in it. Silverish blue eyes and dressed in a black shirt, with a red vest over it and a dark grey long skirt and a pair of hand guns strapped to her ..one is under her left arm, the other is across the right side of her hips, she looks about 21.r .. she doesn't LOOK much like a fighter at first glance.

Background

Daughter of Yu Narukami and Yukiko Amagi, Persona User and a Shadow Operative. She was born and raised in Yaso-Inabi, a small, rather boring, country side town. That being said, both her parents worked at the Amagi Inn, and so did she for a while. She would learn a majority of her etiquette skills while working there. She would spend a lot of time with her parents learning not only how to use a Katana, but a Tessen, No particular reason behind it at first, it was just something for her to do on her off time aside from origami. As she grew up she started working towards becoming a police officer, taking courses for criminal justice, politics and what not. However!, She would actually be recruited by the Shadow Operatives. Known as the Security Department, Shadow Response Unit. An unofficial section of the police backed by the Kirijo Group, the purpose of the Shadow Operatives is to hunt Shadows and deal with Persona related activity. The Shadow Operatives have a certain hierarchy where the lowest numbered member of the group within an operation must lead. Her number is 25, While not very high, she isn't to low on the ranking system either, she very actively participates and most cases, the fact that she has a a Scanning/Healing type persona easily earns her a place in most operations. Through her wild success as a field agent for the Shadow Operatives, she has been recently recruited to PARADIGM, To act as an first responder to cases in other realms.

Beyond this is information that would not appear in a Dossier ..but since she is a persona character it should be mentioned.

She has her doubts. She believes strongly that all of the suggest she has had up to this point is nothing but a consequence of ridding the coat tails of her parents. While they never became Shadow Operatives themselves they have help deal with a number of cases including stopping one of the world ending events that seems to be semi commonplace in the Persona-verse. In short ..she believes no success is truly hers alone. ..As much as she doesn't want to admit it.

Powers & Merits

SpellCaster: Strangely enough She has learned how to cast some very minor spells without the aid of her persona, though it draws from the same power effectively.
Dia:Minor healing spell she can heal minor cuts and scraps with this
Agi:Weak Fire ball spell ..a tiny baseball sized fire ball, probably wouldn't kill some one but it would still hurt.
Zio:Weak Lightning spell, An arch of lightning! Not that powerful but still hurts.

Danger Sense (3): "Oh no! My Spider Senses are tingling!" A successful Alertness roll, difficulty depending on the situation, will give you a timely sense of foreboding before something bad happens...

Self-Confident (5): One free successful roll during a mission, due to the strength of your self-confidence. This only comes into effect regarding rolls at difficulty 6 or higher. As with other rolls, this does not apply in combat (as your enemy is probably just as sure of himself as you are), but when it's time to get something done, you -know- it comes down to you.

• Type:Healer/Caster/Scanner type. Amaterasu allows Megumi to Unleash powerful spells and healing, but it comes at a cost.
• Affects: A Fire/Holy/Lightning type Persona! She boosts most of Megumi's defenses and has powerful spells.
• Resistances: Lightning, Fire
• Weaknesses: Ice
• Special Abilities:
  • Enhanced Defense: Amaterasu increases the user's defense, and allows them to survive other types of attacks normal humans could not. It is especially resilient against physical and ice attacks, but its defenses against its weaknesses are non-existent. The Persona itself, if summoned, takes heavy damage from those. (Gameplay Wise: The Persona user can take punishment that could kill an ordinary human and survive it. It does not give them invincibility or even resistance to those things, but like a Magical Girl, they can take 'general damage' instead of 'Bullet wound to the neck'. It provides NO defense against its weaknesses.)
  • Weakness Scan: This ability allows Amaterasu to scan for enemy weaknesses! Think like Libra!
  • Holy Fangs: Bite attacks from Amaterasu are considered holy!
  • Spirit Fury: The Spirit bits that float around Amaterasu can fly around and smack into foes for Physical or firey ranged attacks. generally they just float around and protect Amaterasu from Lightning and Fire attacks.

• Spells: A Persona can use Tarot cards or other methods to learn spells. Each Persona has a number of 'slots' it can use to learn spells. Spells can be taught to the Persona then either upgraded to the next level, or replaced by an entirely different spell.
  • Mediarama: A Moderate magical healing power
  • Maragi: A Wave of fire pillars that burst outwards from her persona.
  • Agilao: A Large fire ball is launched from her persona.
  • Godly Light:Holy beams of light rain down from above to damage the enemies!, this attack is used to expel demons and ghosts!
  • Salvation:Full Health and Stamina recovery and removes all status ailments. All allies. The draw back is using this will desummon her persona due to the amount of stress involved
  • Aeon Rain: The Spirit bits of Amaterasu Fly about and like like Fin funnels! Raining down moderately damaging energy attacks! No element, raw energy!
  • Izanagi's Wrath: Summons a powerful bolt of lightning to strike a single target, anyone around that target how ever suffers major back blast from the impact

• History:Amaterasu is the Japanese sun goddess who rules over the High Plain of Heaven. Her name means "she who illuminates the heavens". She was born from Izanagi's left eye. The most famous myth involving her took place when her brother Susano-o attacked her temple in a drunken rage and killed several of her priestesses. Distressed by this, Amaterasu fled into a cave and darkness fell on the world. Ultimately the other gods lured her out of her hiding place by placing a mirror next to the cave entrance and began to cheer and yell due to the antics of Ame no Uzume. When Amaterasu peeked out to see what the commotion was, she was told there was a new god and was directed to look at the mirror. Having never seen her own reflection before, she was fascinated by what she saw and was lured out of the cave, returning light to the world. Amaterasu is also known as the ancestor of the Imperial lineage.

In Kojiki, her name is unified to be "Amaterasu-Omikami" (天照大御神). In Nihon Shoki, she is more often addressed by her full title of "Amaterasu-Sume-Okami" (天照皇大神), or alternatively "Sume-Omikami" (皇大御神), literally means the "Great Imperial Deity".

Items Of Note

Evoker: The Evoker is a gun-esque item. It functions as a summoning medium for members of the Shadow Operatives to invoke and control their Personas. Evokers are created and manufactured by the Kirijo Group. Evokers prove to be traumatizing and tiring, as the Evoker still retains the shape of a gun.
