History
The Scorpion Clan of ninja was born in the harsh and poison-filled land of Dokuga. Several families there, of low-status Samurai, thieves and monks, united their knowledge and strength as a group of bandits, which eventually started becoming more and more fierce and skilled, eventually becoming a worthy and disciplined ninja clan. Despite this odd origin, due to the nature of their land and the abundance of poisons and natural threats, the Scorpion Clan became feared through the various nations, owing loyalty only to themselves and the highest bidder, often working for the Dokuga Warlord, but just as often for private contractors and rich nobles. Known for their poison use and their brutal, unforgiving jutsu mastery, the Scorpion Clan was the most feared group in the Rankai Lands, until the arrival of the Yasha Dominion. After then, everything changed. Their leader took roughly half of their numbers and joined them, usurping the Warlord and taking Dokuga for himself, leaving the Scorpion Clan in shambles.
Purpose
The only goal of the Scorpion Clan now is to destroy Yamijou Tenpouin, in order to free Dokuga and regain their former status. As it stands, the incredibly dangerous shinobi are hunted by their former comrades and their newest rivals, the Spider Clan, as well as their former leader, Kotaro Shippu. They have made contacts among other Warlords, including Inochi Noou. They are the only known source of inside information among the Yasha Dominion, which makes them a precious commodity for any Warlord in these times.
Known Members
- Kagero: Formerly the wife of Kotaro Shippu, raised as a samurai. Currently, leader of the Ninja Rebellion in Dokuga.
- Genkaku Ryudo: The most experienced Scorpion alive. Genkaku has done and seen it all, and is currently adviser to their new leader.
- Tenko Ishigami: Trainer for the Scorpion Clan, and master of Kagero. Took Kotaro Shippu's betrayal incredibly hard.
- Oboro: Highly skilled kunoichi, one of the newest recruits before the Yasha Dominion invaded.
- Uraki: Kotaro's concubine's child, raised partially by Kaede. Not very skilled, but surprisingly smart.

- The Scorpion Clan comes from The Way of the Tiger series of Choose Your Own Adventure books, and not the Legend of the 5 Rings. That's a happy coincidence. I swear.
