Ninja: Kotaro is a ninja clan leader, as well as a Warlord. He is highly proficient in the arts of Taijutsu, Ninjutsu and Genjutsu. On top of that, he is an explosives expert, a master of strategy and most of all, a master of poisons. A direct confrontation with Kotaro Shippu will not be escaped unscathed, and he is much too clever to ever be caught in a disadvantageous situation. He is able to vanish from sight, cause explosions and use the elements and darkness to a degree. He can also uses illusions and misdirection.
Undeath: For a variety of reasons, Kotaro is no longer strictly 'alive'. This grants him several immunities, as well as superhuman strength, regeneration and inhuman resilience. He is tireless and his affinity with darkness has increased tenfold.
