She's rather curvy like her mother and likes to smile, sometimes eerily like her father. She tends to wear leather pants and fitted tops with leather straps on her arms.

Background

When the fight between Inspiratio and PARADIGM was finally over, the world that Izu Tendou and Eletian lived in was destroyed. The had nothing. They ran off together with the purpose of trying to rebuild a place that would accept them. Eletian was trying to see if this could work and he also gave into his feelings rather than his programming at this point. Eletian had Dr. Willet make a body that would become 'Reina'... a fully functional synthetic child that would grow and become completely and utterly Izu and Eletian's daughter. Izu and Eletian loved Reina. They tried to teach her as much as they could but nothing could hide the fact that Reina grew up in a place of shambles. Destruction was always around her until finally 'the Only' came and finished the job; completely disintigrating what was left of her world and taking away all that Reina cared for. Reina was spared, for some reason.. floating in space until she was picked up by the Icarus, Tobias Swiftblade's ship.

Powers & Merits

Reina has a resilient body that can take a beating, move faster, hit stronger and she also has enhanced regeneration (very similar to a supernatural creature, like a demon).

  • [Oblivion Ring] - A banishment spell designed to detain people, creatures, artifacts, and magical enchantments. When cast, the object or being disappears, and is represented by a symbol that resembles a circle writ in the air with mana. This ring then follows Reina around, containing the essence of the being or item within, which is frozen in time. If disenchanted, the ring shatters, and the occupant released. Can be resisted by powerful enemies that aren't weakened.
  • [Energy Barrage] - Tapping only minorly into the Legacy Engine, Reina can fire bolts of energy in rapid succession from her palms with varying strength, depending on how long she charges. This is not a spell.
  • [Final Spark] - Reina's ultimate attack. Using the full, unlocked power of the Legacy Engine, Reina focuses all of the magical power inside her into a single, enormous Holy elemental beam, several feet wide in scope and insanely powerful. The beam lasts for several seconds as the entirety of his mana is dumped into it.
  • [Counterspell] - Reina can outright will a spell out of existence with the power of the TPU, disassembling it from the aether.
  • [Misdirection] - Working similarly to Counterspell, Reina can take a spell in the air - or magical ability - and wrest control of the spell away from the caster entirely, flinging it to another target or targets.
  • [Blinding Light] With a snap of her fingers, Reina fills the immediate area with a crackle of displaced energy that seemingly has no source - the light floods the vision of anyone present. This serves to blind any non-Holy or divine creatures, as well as dealing moderate Holy damage to any specifically weak to Holy magic. The snap is required.
  • [Chain Lightning] Reina raises her hand to fire an arc of electricity at an opponent. It will chain to any nearby enemies, hitting up to 3 times.
  • [White Wind] Reina cures the entire party equal to the amount of health she currently has. Undead creatures do not get healed, but take no damage - demons are healed as normal. Non-elemental.
  • [Trine] Reina casts a field-wide spread barrage of electrical bolts that come at various random angles and arcs. Very hard to dodge. Learned from Dragon Tank Mark I
  • [Libra] Reina is able to see an enemy's stats and elemental strengths and weaknesses. Does not work on certain types of enemies. Learned from General Momosa

Soul Stone Ability (Fighter)

  • Berserk: When the fighter's health drops to critical levels, the fighter can go into a desperation mode with stronger and faster attacks. This effect ends when either the Fighter is knocked out, or healed back to more stable levels.
  • Intimidate: Allows one offensive ability to be 'copied' that was last used on the fighter (within reason). Once a new ability is copied, the last one is lost.
  • Disable: The Fighter can focus all of his attacks on a single opponent and immediately disable/weaken them. The GM can decide how they are weakened by a !hit body (disarmed, hit in a nerve cluster, out of breath, etc.) but this reduces their efficiency in battle in some way (weapon loss, unable to focus, inability to channel magic, etc.)

Large Scale Battle

  • Stats: +500 ATK
  • Special: Thaumaheuristic Processor Unit - Three times per battle, Reina can cancel an enemy magical attack via countermagic, regardless of damage or special ability.
  • Super: Berserker Rage - Reina charges the enemy, striking their defenses and keeping them busy and stunned for the battle. Enemy DEF is dropped to 0 for the round, then by half (although HP is not) for the rest of the battle.

Merits

  • True Love (1): You've found that One who makes your life complete. Automatic Willpower success when striving to protect, come closer, or remain close to your True Love. Other benefits as well, GM's discretion.
  • Graceful (2): You are extremely agile and delicate in your movements. +1 Bonus on all Athletics rolls.
  • Soothing Voice (2): You have an entrancing voice. When using your voice (speeches, singing, poetry), you get a +2 Bonus on Social rolls. When making casual conversation, +1 Bonus.
  • Faction Favorite (2): Members of the House/Kingdom/Guild/Race you are aligned to favor you and will do a good deal to get on your good side, possibly to bring you over to them, especially if you're currently disparate. Note this probably means they expect greatness of you, so don't disappoint them. You get a +2 Bonus on rolls when dealing with this faction unless you critically screw up your opening line and interactions.

Weaknesses & Flaws

Reina is very naive. She hasn't had a lot of interaction with humans and thus can be manipulated.

Flaws

Curiosity (2): Your incredible curiosity often overrides your common sense. Resisting temptation requires a successful Wits roll, difficulty depending on the situation. A very bad flaw to take with certain evil sadistic GMs.

Disturbing Mannerism (2): You have a habit or character trait which is peculiar, gross, or annoying. You may not even be aware of it-but everyone else is. Penalties of social rolls are increased at the GM's discretion.

Isolated Upbringing (1): You were raised in a very unique society, or were somehow otherwise sequestered away from "normal" life, so you have trouble dealing with this Outside-World thing. Dealing with any community outside the one in which you were raised raises a -1 Penalty on Social rolls, when RP'ing accomodates it. This can lead to quite a bit of problems of the non comedic type in this kind of setting.

Masochist/Sadist (1): You either enjoy pain or enjoy inflicting it on others. In addition to the inconveniences this fascination may cause you, you may also be seen as sick (and, well you are), or even more sick people may use you for your obsession. People noticing this will have a VERY poor view of your character and cast them in a harsh light, and you may not simply 'ignore it because it'd cause too many problems.' Being a sadist marks you as such and a masochist will make people lose respect for you.

Otherworldly Taint (2): You have a physical peculiarity (odd hair/eye color, glowing eyes, etc.) and/or just an odd aura about you which may make you stick out. Someone who suspects you're not "normal" may make an Alertness roll, difficulty 7, to determine what you are.

Dark Secret (1): There's something about you which you don't want people to know, and it would be very bad if they did (or at least you think it would be). In this setting, the GMs will pick your Dark Secret with you, and it may be quite a bit of a problem if you're willing to roll with it.
