The Dragon Clan were the first ninja in the Rankai Lands. They were reputed and feared all throughout, but they were disposed of by Emperor Wakamoto.

History
The word 'Ninja' in the Rankai Lands comes from the Dragon Clan. The precepts of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu were founded by them, warriors and spies using mystical and physical techniques, and occasionally magic, to accomplish missions and duties, were all created by the Dragon Clan. For years they were known and feared, and ninja families were inspired by them. Some of them even founded their own, as runaway shinobi, but no confrontation with the Dragon Clan ended well. Until Emperor Wakamoto. He had an unrivaled hatred for ninja. Citing atrocities (actually attributed to the Scorpion Clan, he declared war on ninja, and his armies all but wiped out the Dragon Clan. Those who survived joined other clans or families, or simply plotted revenge.
Purpose
The Dragon Clan is gone. Those who survived have joined one of the other major clans, or are selling their services right now. They sell themselves at a very high price, due to their skills, to those who can afford it, but they lack the structure and support they used to have. It's said only 60 or so of them are still alive in the Rankai Lands.
Known Members
- Uryu Genda: A well known ninja, heir to the line of leadership of the Dragon Clan, currently in Exile. As close as they come to a leader at this moment.
- 'Chiaki: A prodigy of ninjutsu, currently in Exile. She is the 'face' of the Dragon Clan and one of the reasons people still know of them. Has a grudge against Emperor Wakamoto
- Kensuke Ebisu: A weapons master of the Dragon Clan. Has made his way as a solo operative since the fall of the Clan.
