Appearance

Kia has a light tanned complexion, with deep blue eyes and short spiky blond hair. She always wears her Cross choker, and her holy orders uniform on the job. Off the job she dresses boyish, usually T-shirts and pants work for her. Always wears Tennis shoes.

Personality

She often keeps a professional attitude around those she doesn't know well, but warms up quickly to new friends. Her gentle side is generally what shows, she is a kind person but will not tolerate any harm coming to her friends or family. In a fight she is ruthless and downright dangerous. She also likes to drink. This tends to make her more flirty and be the polar opposite of how she is in uniform.

Background

While her father was busy becoming king of a world with few Gears left, she spent some time in Sol's care, but as she wasn't a Gear, there wasn't much he could do for her. Sol convinced Ky to train her to take over the Eurasian branch of the Sacred Order of Holy Knights, to keep order and peace, so train her he did. He taught her most of his signature moves, and it took her many years to master, and recieving little instruction from her mother on how to utilize chi, as she had trouble mastering anything but her father's moves. She had a social life in between these times of training, and of course made friends during school.

After she turned 21, she was directed to go travel abroad, and is currently in Japan, keeping the area policed and free of Gear threats.

• Occult Library (2): You own a decent collection of works on arcane lore, and if you have access to it, can lower difficulties/add dice when trying to solve an occult mystery and/or generally learn more about the occult. Having this library doesn't automatically mean you're an occult expert; it just means you have convenient access to some knowledge.
• Natural Linguist (2): You're good with languages and language structures. +2 Bonus on all language and translation rolls, but you can't know anymore languages than the ones you have listed on your sheet.
• Time Sense (1): You have an inate sense of time, and can with a good deal of accuracy tell what time it is without a watch. In performing feats where timing may be essential (such as certain combat or athletic maneuvers), difficulties may be lowered or dropped.
• Common Sense (1): You are full of practical wisdom. A great merit for starting characters, as you may receive advice from the GM regarding how to handle certain situations.

  • Ride The Lightning - A move which harnesses a ball of lighning around her, and charges forward encased in the ball
    
  • Lightning Bolt - Lethal Move, only used in rare instances. She summons a great deal of electricity through the sword
    
  • Sacred Edge - A blade of electricity is summoned from a circle, and sent out to her opponent
    
  • Vapor Thrust - Kia launches her enemy up with her sword, with a nice shock to follow them on their way
