Appearance

Seijou always dresses in fashionable, classy clothing, wearing a suit and tie in all occasions. In his chosen field, this makes sense, though several lawyers in his entourage have a very odd dress style, he stands out by not standing out. When relaxing he usually wears designer labels and trendy accessories, always with the curve but never trend-setting.

Personality

Calm, collected, intelligent and very observant, can be quite introspective. However, is also phenomenally judgemental, holier-than-thou in matters of crime and passion, and about the fates of the guilty and the innocent.

Background

Seijou was adopted at an early age by a slightly older couple incapable of conceiving. He was raised to respect and help his parents, as they were preparing for their eventual retirement with Seijou out to take care of them. From a very young age, it was obvious Seijou was an incredibly gifted young child, able to comprehend topics and problems several grade levels above his own. He was enrolled in all cram schools from the age he started going to school, and even then Seijou was bored. Very.. very bored.
He did not know what he wanted to do until he one day saw in action the so-called King of Prosecutors, Miles Edgeworth, a prodigy who had managed to bring the Truth to light in all of his cases since a few years back. Seijou was astonished, and decided this is what he wanted to be when he was an adult. He devoted himself entirely to the study and pursuit of law, learning all he can about crimes and the psychology of felons, the reasons for murder, the real meaning of justice. His greatest day arrived when he was noticed by Edgeworth's offices, applying for an internship. Being much younger and much more gifted than his competitors, Seijou was picked for the job, and had decided to learn from the best.
With Mr. Edgeworth's backing, Seijou was accepted in a prestigious law program, and became known as the next prodigy in criminal law. He graduated from the university at a very young age, and made national news for this, before joining a law firm, working towards become a Prosecutor to the district attorney. During this time, Seijou started researching into his personal history, which actually led into the occult. His father had once possessed an impressive magical artifact and Seijou became interested in learning more. He unearthed some tomes of alchemy, unfortunately not as much as he'd have liked, and began trying to learn more of the mystical world around him.
This is where the 6th Holy Grail war began, and Seijou was in the thick of it. His research had led him to information about the Servants used in the 4th and 5th Holy Grail War, just as another was brewing. Attempting to see how true this was, the first spell Seijou managed to get a hold of was a spell to summon a Servant, and when he activated it, it summoned the Servant, Rider, who became bound to him for the 6th and upcoming Holy Grail War.

Special Abilities

Aikido: Mentioned above, this is not really a special ability, but Seijou has been practicing Aikido since he was 11. He is quite well trained at it and can handle himself in a fight, even against a stronger opponent. This said, he is completely within the realm of humans, and someone like Ryu or Ranma will wreck him in a matter of seconds. He mostly does this to keep himself flexible and in good health.
Parkour: Seijou has been practicing Parkour for a time now. He's quite adept at it and is very agile for a man who works in an office for it. He is able to climb up and down just about any reasonable surface, and is very adept at finding routes through difficult passageways by thinking outside the box, mid run, and observing the possible paths.
Alchemy: Seijou has become interested in alchemical rituals and concoctions lately. While his equipment and resources in that domain are quite lacking, his knowledge of science and the supernatural makes him naturally inclined to learn more about it. He has already managed to figure out how to do various alchemical concoctions with regularity, and knows how to mix the appropriate elements with the appropriate mixtures to accomplish what was once known as 'Miracles'. He also refers to this as Thaumaturgy.
Recreatio Elixir: Seijou has learned how to make a mixture which can restore stamina and accelerate healing. This allows him to keep going even after he's tired, and will let casual and field healing work as well as actual medicine, at least for a while.
Fortis Elixir: The actual 'healing potion'. This concoction forces the body to heal even on the move. It's quite unpleasant while it lasts, but it allows a person to heal (treated) wounds incredibly rapidly, and serves as field healing quite well. (Treat as a Potion from FF, really).
Sedetio Elixir: An elixir which calms the nerves.. in a small amount. If mixed with water, it can form a gas to stun or even knock out people who breathe it in. Helps to prevent panic or even calm down some inanities, taken internally, but in large amounts is essentially knockout gas.
Antimony: Held in a tube, this concoction will create a large flash and then fill the area around it with a maelstrom of electricity. VERY dangerous to use but relatively safe to handle, it can seriously injure or even kill a person.
Illumina: Essentially crystals in a tube which can act as a flashlight. Breaking a crystal the size of a pencil will create light around the entire area, and can be held in a container or bottle at Seijou's.. or anyone's.. belt, illuminating the entire area around them.
Magecraft: Seijou has recently developed this ability, so he is not quite proficient at it.. just yet. He has quickly learned the basics, though, and is able to use Mana Stones, his primary means of attack. However, he can only carry so many and they require time and effort to prepare, so he would rather keep them for later if at all possible.
Mana Stones: Seijou is able to activate small gems filled with magic. With a word, he can activate them and throw them at opponents, causing powerful grenade-like explosions on impact. This is a magician's primary means of attack, but it's a very basic ability, and almost all Seijou can do at least for now.

Powers & Merits

10th Level Intellect: Seijou is smart. INCREDIBLY so. Very high on the genius scale. He can learn and understand almost anything given proper materials to study, and adapts incredibly quickly to almost all mental situations. He can craft several theories at once, think multi-laterally, and break down complex problems quickly. This above all else is Seijou's most noteworthy trait. (10th Level Intellect is a DC Comics Joke)
Magician: Seijou has a rather large latent Mana Pool. He has access to much magical energy, though he is rather new in his use of it, so he cannot craft major spells as of yet, or share it freely. However, he is an incredibly quick learner and is intent in finding out everything about magic in the next few years. This allows him to constantly keep his Servant fed with Mana.
Servant Summon: Seijou has learned how to summon a Servant, and has already cast the spells.
-Command Spells: Seijou has the three Command Spells that come with being a Master to a Servant. He can use them to impose an order on Rider, no matter what that order is, up to three times, after which she is freed.
Fearless: Seijou is absolutely fearless. While not immune to magical fear and quite conscious of what kinds of danger he may be facing, Seijou is never intimidated, and never considers anything too daunting. It is almost impossible to naturally make him run away or even jump scare him. He is like a Green Lantern.

Eidetic Memory: (2pt Merit) Seijou never, EVER forgets -anything-.
Lightning Calculator: (1 Pt Merit) Seijou is amazingly quick at any math, and can do complex equations in his head.
Daredevil: (3pt Merit) Seijou is absolutely fearless, and cannot be swayed by anything.
Good Ol' Boy: (2pt Merit) Seijou is very well spoken and minds his manners at all times.

Tarot Blessing

If the Tarot card's user is in dire need and under specific circumstances, The tarot card Hero will grant assistance to them with their fight. When the tarot card Hero appears, they are a shadowed out figure that hovers behind or beside their user.. the Hero can only be visible when casting or attacking, otherwise only magic users or spiritualists will be able to see them.

  • The Torso - Seijou pulled the fortune of The Torso champion, Tetsuo. Tetsuo is an experimented on human who was gifted with the powers of Telekinesis and has dillusions of godhood. Currently Tetsuo only offers one attack for Seijou:
    • Telekinetic Smash - A simple attack. When used, the immediate target in front of Seijou will be attacked with powerful telekinetic wave, either knocking them away or potentially blocking an incoming projectile.
    • Scanners - The second Tarot ability. Tetsuo appears behind Seijou, focusing his telekinetic and telepathy on all foes in the area. The extreme pressure can make the heads of every mook in the area explode. Or just one.

Items Of Note

Mana Stones: Magically charged gems which explode on impact once activated by a control word. Seijou usually carries between 3 on his person at a time.
Alchemical Concoctions: Kept in tubes inside his carrying case, these contain 3 Recreatio Elixirs, 2 Fortis Elixirs (that he would rather not use), 2 Sedetio Elixirs, Three Illumina concoctions and 2 Antimony.
Portable Lab: A misnomer, really he carries beakers and notes on various alchemical mixtures if he has to improvise on the field.. but since he is primarily interested in finding out things about magic, these make a certain amount of sense. He does not always carry this with him but when he does, it's in a briefcase.
Flashlight: A regular, if very good and adjustable, flashlight.
Notebook: In both the computer and paper format, complete with voice recording and pens, of course.

Weaknesses & Flaws

Command Spells: The three Command Marks he has to control his Servant, Rider. Once they are used to make her do anything he wants, she will be free and he may be at her mercy.
Human: The greatest flaw and merit. Seijou is completely human, if fearless and terrifyingly clever. He can die like anyone else, and in fact..

Dark Fate: (5pt Flaw) Seijou is going to die young, and he knows it. The why is his personal secret which he will take to an early grave.
Poor Sight: (1pt Flaw) Seijou needs reading glasses, and has otherwise middling vision without contacts.
