Raikou's Elite forms 30% of his nation's military might, and are the best of the best.

History

Raikou Ishijin is one of the youngest, but most promising Warlords in the Rankai Lands. His country, however, lay between the Divine Unification Army and the Yasha Dominion in the south. Knowing full well there was no way to assemble an army strong enough in numbers, he instead focused on making every member of his army as strong as he could. When he found the actual best of the best, he recruited them to be part of his personal retinue, and trained them even harder, with each other as sparring partners, forming an elite of four which can carry the weight of an army on their own, instead of depending on strength of numbers or superior quality of weapons, giving his country a fighting chance.

Known Members

  • Raikou Ishijin: The leader of the elite, and Warlord of Tsubasa Nation. A powerful warrior with incredible leadership and the loyalty of his people, and the leader of his elite battle group.
  • Sumera: Raikou's second in command, despite being a woman, and a skilled archer and swordswoman. More aggressive than her leader but also incredibly quick witted and analytical.
  • Gojin: Raikou's third in command and strategist. Calmer than Sumera, and often the voice of reason, the two of them complement each other greatly in advising their lord.
  • Yunoo: A youth who has recently joined Raikou's elite, she is the best archer in the land. It is said her arrows strike like a spear on horseback, and never miss their mark.
  • Aoi: The newest member of Raikou's elite, and the son of a Gaijin. His youth and lack of experience are nothing in light of his natural talent as a swordsman and he can wield a spear like a man three times his size.
