Appearance
Deidre has the sculpted body that the 3WA created for their perfect trouble consultant. Additionally, thanks to Shasti updating herself with the Lucien controls, her hair length, texture, and color; eye color; and skin color are completely variable. Her default settings, however, is blond hair with a long tail, slightly tanned skin, and blue eyes. She tends to wear leather unitards, with jackets. If someone looks under her hair, she has three data jacks at her neck. These are usually covered however, and are only obvious when in use.
Personality
Deidre's rather curious about everything, and is prone to making up her past if pressed about it and she doesn't have the answer. The fact that she has so little in the way of memories scares her at times. Like Shasti, however, she has four distinct personalities, which alternate depending on the situation. Unless her tetranet is damaged, the appropriate one takes control. If her tetranet is damaged, one of four things may occur: she remains in Social mode, no matter what the situation; her tetranet can't control the personality alteration, and she keeps switching personality, no matter what the situation is; she shuts down and is in a 'coma' until her tetranet is repaired; or... she becomes Shasti again. And Shasti is a sociopath. But, unless someone with really incredible computer skills makes a point to systematically destroy all sections of Deidre's personality from the tetranet, Deidre is always recoverable.
Here are the four personality modules linked to the tetranet:
- Warrior - takes no crap and is adept in combat situations. Acidic voice.
- Detective - the planner, speaks in a mechanical voice.
- Social - Nice sweet person. Decently intelligent, but lacks the extremes of Warrior or Detective to make strategies or solve difficult puzzles.
- Seductress - Come now. it's obvious, isn't it?
Background
In 2128, the 3WA (Worlds Welfare Works Association) served the United Galactica (a group of more than 3,000 planets) by providing an investigative force. Run by the Central Computer (affectionately known as the CC), the 3WA sends Trouble Consultants (TCs) to planets that petition for aid that their governments or police forces are unable to handle. Usually young... attractive women in their prime, the TCs became a strong asset to the 3WA. As technology and medical knowledge advanced, 3WA reasoned that it might be possible to -create- the ultimate TC. Thus, in 2135, they created a bioroid able to regulate her body's chemicals to heal and fight, a computer brain to caluculate odds and respond quickly as well as control the programming of her personalities. They named her Shasti, and paired her with a normal human partner named Deidre.
Shasti was indeed a success, though mostly unable to fully enjoy her life, being that she truely was created to be a work drone and not much else. However, Shasti and Deidre never failed to resolve a case, and usually with the absolute minimum loss to civilians and police force. However, Shasti and Deidre were then asked to work with a pair of new recruits, Kei and Yuri, code named Lovely Angels. For this case, the four TCs were to track down a dangerous sociopath, LaCombe. To make the job easier, the 3WA decided that they would hard wire LaCombe's personality into Shasti, so that she could calculate what he would do. Unable to say no, Shasti was given the fifth personality. It however, destroyed the control her tetranet had, as well as destroyed the command component that made her HAVE to obey the 3WA. Shasti quickly became a sociopath, and broke free of the 3WA.
Throughout the years, the Lovely Angels (Dirty Pair) came in to contact with Shasti and fought her, the combat escalating. Using her skills to go bad, Shasti would buy weapons and upgrades from the black market (such as the Lucien upgrade, which enables the person to change hair, eye, skin colors and designs and such), turn revolutionaries against each other, and generally sow madness and chaos wherever she could.
During one fight, Kei and Yuri actually managed to trap Shasti, and thought that the massive amounts of electricity killed her. No heart beat registered.. no brain activity. But they were unable to retrieve the body, and were thus left with the worry that it might not be over.
And it wasn't. While her body survived, Shasti's tetranet of personalities got extremely scrabbled. Past encounters got distorted... and when Shasti awoke... she was Deidre. No longer a sociopath, but instead a rather confused girl who only knew that she had to keep moving. Named for her 'mother's' past partner, Deidre has taken the exact opposite route that her mother had planned. She shuns her past, and hopes that it will let her finally find peace.
Uncomfortable with the lack of a history, Deidre has decided to head into the past.

Powers & Merits
Increased Strength and Reflexes: As a bioroid, Deidre has Ryoga level strength, if pressed and Shampoo's reflexes.
War Drugs: Deidre can pump herself with war drugs, which feed directly into her blood stream to instantly increase strength, endurance, reflexes, and promote healing.
Personality Switch: Deidre changes personality based on what would be the most suited to the task.
Disguise: Thanks to the Lucien upgrade, Deidre can disguise herself as a completely different human woman, with generally the same height and weight. This is enhanced by her Smart Suit, which can reconfigure to look like different outfits.
Mind Link: Thanks to components in her tetranet, Deidre can usually 'mentally' contact persons within certain frequencies via a coded transmitter. It's similar to Solid Snake's ability to subvocal and talk to persons via a nanolink.
Unique Items
Smart suit - Deidre's smart suit has the following abilities
- good armor against bullets and other physical attacks
- 75% reduction in damage caused by fire and heat
- Holocamoflague - Invisible to normal human eye, but can be picked up on other visual ranges.
- Emergency space suit - Life support, including self-contained breathing controls, body temperature and pressure controls, and protection against vacuum. Lasts one hour before needing recharge
- Scuba Suit: Life support, self-contained breathing, body temperature, and pressure control.
- Shock gloves: Gloves discharge electrical blast of approximately 40,000 volts (think of it as shock therapy ^^)
Umbilical cords - Deidre uses these to jack in to computers, her staff, and other things, with different types of plugs.
Gravity staff - Deidre's weapon of choice. She can use it as a blunt attack of varying strengths (by increasing the gravity around the tip), minor flight (by decreasing gravity around the staff), and as a shield by using gravity to shove the attack back if possible. It only works, however, if it's jacked in.
