Appearance

Qullqi wears ceremonial robes of her order, white silk with silver lining donates her rank with gemstones for the buttons marking her achievements. The upper half of her face is constantly covered by a hood that is separate from the rest of her wardrobe and cinched around her to make it difficult in removing. She often carries with her a large white leather book, with golden trimmed pages and a Monk's spade with the top resembling a coin.

Personality

Bright, outgoing, optimistic. Qullqi is often smiling and eager to join in on adventures, but does not tolerate those who would appear to not be in favor of her Goddess.

Background

Qullqi was raised by the Cathedral Banks of Giyp, where wealth and luxury are signs of favor from the Prophetess. There, being in debt and destitute are signs that one has angered her and must seek to make amends, lest they are hunted by debtors of the afterlife. Her school life consisted of religious studies, which included things such as literature and math. She had the finest teachers, for the Cathedral Banks of Giyp for er birth was seen as a blessing as she resembled her nation's Goddess in appearance. Though in order to keep her safe and humble, she was to don a sacred veil until such time she is allowed to remove it by her church.

Special Abilities

Being a priestess of the Prophetess has granted Qullqi several abilities. These abilities can be taught to those who choose to follow in her footsteps, but it is not easy as they require faith.

Stance of the Mediator.
When two parties choose to parley they require neutral ground. The Stance of the Mediator calls down the Goddess' power, protecting both parties through the Priestess' faith. The priestess stands between both groups and holds her staff high, calling down the eyes of the Prophetess to sanctify the meeting during which time a neutral ground is established. Both parties are aware of all affects of such a power.

  • The Power ensures that both parties remain safe, the Priestess is empowered at such time to block any incoming attack with her divine mandate. Should someone attempt to strike either the priestess or a negotiator, she moves and counters the attack with near instantaneous speed and supernal force, even if her own allies are making the attack she will strike.
  • The Stance can never be used to "set a trap" willingly by the priestess, and attempting to coerce the priestess is seen as sacrilegious.
  • Any deal created during The Stance of the Mediator is sanctified. Should someone break their side of the deal, then fate sees to it that the person suffers from a dramatic failure at an inopportune moment. The priestess does not know what that failure will be, or how it will come about until it has occurred, at which point she will be granted a minor vision of what happened. The failure is determined by the GM.

The Stance can be only done if BOTH parties agree to negotiations and can only be dropped when either the negotiates have failed, or a deal has been struck.

Price of Pain.
The Priestess does not merely strike the flesh, but also the wallet. When Qullqi hits a target with an offensive attack, she also drains from them precious resources. Should the target have nothing to call it's own, she takes from their essence (chi, mana, etc), leaving them with nothing in the end. The monetary losses show up as coins going missing, fees and charges on bank accounts...or just things of value aren't where they're suppose to be and the priestess' coffers being that much fuller.

Everyone has a price
Qullqi's intense training as a priestess of the Prophetess has taught her that everything does indeed have a price. This methodology has trained her to allow her to use her Law skill in place of any social roll.

Even Death has one!
Death eventually comes to claim all...but the question is when. Should Qullgi be mortally injured she can stall Death through hostile negotiations and social maneuvers. This does not necessarily bring her back to life but it certainly can extend the amount of time before she leaves her mortal coil permanently, giving her allies a better chance of resurrecting her in time.

Qullqicare Health Insurance
Feeling ill? Injured? Need an immediate doctor visit? Qullqicare has you covered! Qullqi can provide healing magic through the use of powerful curative magic. Qullqicare Health Insurance can restore physical injuries, cure poisons/diseases, and other provide other mending like miracles! Though more serious injuries such as regrowth, major surgery, or regeneration come at a premium and should a patient seek such options they'll have to make a pay a deductable donation towards The Prophetess' servitor.

What'ya Got?
Value holds different meanings to different people, a teddy bear to a child is worth quite a bit...but to an adult it might be a meaningless toy. This has given her the ability to perceive what is valuable to someone through use of the Law skill (vs Target's Subterfuge). By default, a subject's life is valuable to them and should the subject's values (or there isn't anything "worth knowing") already be known to the Priestess, she instead sees a weak spot in the subject that she may utilize against them, provided that one is available.
