Appearance

A buxom, curvy girl, Berry doesn't have much of a set 'style', though her most common outfit is a tight pair of denim shorts, a striped tank top, and sandals. She tends to wear her shoulder-length, slightly wavy pink hair in a small ponytail.

Personality

Happy-go-lucky and eager to make friends. Although Berry enjoys the occasional scrap, she much prefers just going out and having a good time. And although a fighter by training, she is good-hearted to the point where some would call her naive.

Background

Descended from interdimensional Paradigm Agent Belle Hibiki and the gem Red Beryl, Berry grew up with a host of cultural influences. Although 'born' in Japan, she considers herself a citizen of Earth first and foremost. As Belle was, she was trained early in martial arts. Unlike them, however, she also attended regular school.

• Gem Abilities
  • Gem Power: Pyrokinesis - A limited form of pyrokinesis. Berry can create flames out of her gem as well as control existing fire. The flames can be harmful or not, depending on her desires. In its most basic offensive form, this ability can be used to throw fireballs at her opponents.
  • Gem Power: Shapeshifting - As a hybrid of human and gem, Berry doesn't have as much flexibility as the latter light-construct beings do, however she can transform herself, increasing or decreasing her size and mass by ~50%. Such changes can cause a strain on her body, however, and extended periods of transformation can force her to revert to normal, the power temporarily disabled. Generally, the less extreme the change, the longer it can be held.
  • Gem Power: Fusion - A cheap tactic to make weak gems stronger. By performing a dance with another willing being, Berry can fuse with them, creating an entirely new person. This new individual is a hybrid of its hosts, having characteristics of all. Despite having its own distinct personality and name, it is also aware that it is an aggregate of its component persons. Fusions tend to be stronger and have the ability to achieve more than they would if they were separated. A fusion can only last so long as its component persons are in harmony, however. Discord between the psyches can cause a fusion to break prematurely.
