Appearance

Zala is a young-looking, petite foxwolf. She has silver fur, matching her father, with a build similar to her mother's. Her hair is long, falling to her shoulderblades, and is a deep midnight black. Her eyes are a bright, glimmering blue. For attire, she's commonly seen in a fancy blue dress with gold trim, arcane sigils woven into the fabric with golden thread and a matching cloak. She always carries her sword with her, a simple golden-hilted longsword. In combat, she wears silver platemail with gilded trim. The legs are hidden by the skirt of her combat robe.

Personality

Cheerful and energetic, Zala is a bubbly and kind person. She is also rather brash and hot-headed, quick to anger, and when angered, even quicker to lash out. While she may seem somewhat airheaded, this belies her incredibly sharp mind. She is loyal to a fault to those that earn her trust, and to the members of the Shining Force, as well as the country of Rune as a whole.

Background

The daughter of the Wolf Baron Zylo, and Master Mage Alef, Zala is a young soldier in training for the fabled Shining Force, which both her mother and father served with. She was born with a startling amount of magical power, inhereted from her mother; who is the first magic user in her line in a long time. Her father, Zylo, is a strong fighter, and being trained by both, Zala learned both magic and fighting. However, she found herself favoring the sword, more than her own claws like her father preferred, so she started training with Max, the Shining Knight himself, and his daughter.

  • Sleep: Exactly what it says on the tin, puts the target(s) to sleep.
• Magical Swordsmanship, the ability to fuse swordplay with magic. She can channel spell energy through her sword and use it to enhance her swordsmanship. With the magic sword, she usually casts spells into her sword herself. But as mentioned, it works both ways, someone can cast into her sword and she can use that. But she has to be aware of the spell cast in order to be able to use it like that. Later, she may be able to catch enemy spells with her sword, but for now that's not possible (it is still in-training process).
  • Blade: A simple strike with her sword enchanted. Does not discharge the sword.
  • Arc: A wide strike, causing the magic in the sword to fan out in an arc of destruction. Discharges the sword.
