Personality

Kurou has a strong sense of justice and morality, claiming that there is no rationale behind his desire to aid and protect others beyond the fact that it would leave him with lingering regrets if he simply abandoned them, a feeling that he describes as "a bad aftertaste".

Background

He was enrolled as an archaeology student at the Miskatonic University but used this as a cover for his true major in sorcery under the tutelage of Dr. Henry Armitage. During an attempt to break into the library to read one of the forbidden grimoires, he was attacked by Wilbur Whateley and almost killed, causing him to distance himself from the occult and drop out of the university entirely. He continued to work as a private investigator but was financially poor until the day he was hired by the Hadou Financial Group to acquire a grimoire. In his search, he encounters Al-Azif and circumstances force him into a contract with her, becoming the pilot of the imitation Deus Machina, Demonbane (デモンベインDemonbein?). After encountering the inhumanity of Master Therion, he comes to hate the man with a passion, fuelling his determination to destroy the Black Lodge.

Unique Items

Necronomicon: His Grimiore which takes the form of the girl Al-Azif, allows Kurou to transform into the Magius Style and summon Demonbane (disabled for this channel).
Atlach-Nacha: Allows Kurou's Magius Form to use his hair as binding weapons, also enhanced Demonbane with Spider-like powers and abilities.
The Scimitar of Barzai: Kurou's main hand to hand weapon. A blade that can cut through almost anything on a conceptual level (treat as unbelievably sharp and unbreakable). Kurou can throw it like a spinning blade of death and direct it to attack one or multiple opponents.
Mirror of Nitocris: Allows for Illusion Creation, invisibility and mirror coating.
Cthugha and Ithaqua: Dual-Wielded Handguns, bound to Kurou. Cthugha can fire blasts of unimaginable heat, and Ithaqua can fire bullets of ice far blow absolute zero. Both handguns' bullets will home onto an enemy's weak points and follow them even if they try to dodge.
