Usually seen as self assured, she has an air of confidence that can be seen in how she carries herself. == Personality == Self confident, seen by some as overconfident, driven in many pursuits to strive for perfection in what she can do and push her limits when necessary. But she has a kindness that is all encompassing from her despite her ego. She's quite appreciative of seeing kindness given to others or herself. And she's apt to put herself in harms way to protect others, throwing caution to the wind, though refuses with every fiber of her being to kill anyone. == Background == Keiko was born at a time when Asuka and Shinji had decided to create a future together back on their homeworld of Earth. Leaving behind some of the trials and tribulations of saving dimensions with Asgard. Keiko from a young age grew to be a smart and energetic, self reliant girl. And with Asuka's guidance found proving herself to push for being the best in the things she found interesting was not only challenging, but fun. Though also at a young age, while Shinji took her to visit Dr. Akagi at her home, she became alarmingly frightened at the cat statuettes in the residence. Creating a deep aversion to felines ever since. Keiko one night, while Asuka was with taking Keiko's sibling out on a trip, came across Shinji whimpering in his sleep and went over to hug him to comfort him because it distressed her. And as he awoke, he held her tightly with some tears falling down his cheeks, she was both scared for him and upset because he was sad. Asking him what was the matter he tried valiantly to not tell her but she like her mother can be stubborn when they want to be, and she wished to help him so he broke down and told her how he had killed some people while in Asgard, and it still haunted him sometimes. And after understanding the pain he was going through, she made a decision to always protect others and not to kill anyone like he had to do. Keiko since the age of 10 has suffered extreme nightmares, and has become deeply entranced in her sleep from that point on. Making rousing her a chore and she even once awakened is barely conscious of her surroundings for some time afterwards.
