Born soon after the start of the restoration of Ishval, her mother died in labor, and Emily's father Jean took her and raised her in Central. Being a racial minority, she endured ridicule and bullying in her younger years, and to try to counteract that, she adopted a mean look that hid her eyes some from view in a persistent scowl, and dyed her hair red to get rid of the stark whiteness. Thankfully her skin was not as dark as most pure Ishvallans due to her old man's pastiness. She got by for a while with only a few friends, but was kind of a loner for most of her school life. Personality

Em has a somewhat jaded view of the world, from growing up without a mother, to her military training that made her own people shun her. She knows the world owes her nothing and has only a few friends, being Sheska and Wilhelmina, but her bond to them is not as strong as it is for each other.

Special Abilities

(These are skills, things that can be learned or trained, like martial arts techniques, Jutsu or magic spells. Abilities that are outside the norm of regular humans, but only because they have not had access to them.)
Alchemy - Emily uses the powers of alchemy. With it she can repair some objects and perform transmutations, but primarily she uses it to manifest her electro-magnetic powers.

  • Railgun- No doubt her most powerful attack, she can charge energy into her arm, and fire any metal object (Usually coins)by flicking it wherever she wants it to go. The projectile travels at 1 KM/s and leaves a visible trail behind it. Must charge and aim, so at least one turn is used to charge this, if a turn is not used, it will be inaccurate and slower moving. A concentrated blast uses a lot of her personal energy, but smaller ones not so much.
  • EM Shield- She manipulates a magnetic field that can repel metals and shrapnel on herself (Strong shield) or a small radius (Medium powered, mostly mitigates damage instead of negating it entirely). Not standard bullets, though, as lead is not magnetic.
  • Magnetism- Basically is Magneto-like in what she can do but her EFFECTIVE range is only about 5 meters. If given access she can also use ferrofluid. Weak bonds can be made across a slightly wider range. Strong bonds are at a slightly shorter range.
  • Jolt- Has the ability to send a jolt of electricity through either very close proximity or through metal.
  • "Other"- Alchemy can do various utility things like small repairs and the like. Human transmutation is of course a nono, and also law of equivalent exchange is in effect.

Swordfighting - She has been trained in the usage of her swords. She fights with a dual-wielding technique but can also use only a single sword.

  • Magnetic Swords- if she catches a sword with her own, they may repel or attract to the weapon, enabling her to lock weapons and make them unable to be easily pulled apart. The weapons will still easily slide against their magnetic surfaces.
  • Vibroblade- She can use her power to make the sword vibrate at sonic speed, making them able to cut through most objects, but keeping that up drains her energy. She tends to use it in small bursts, such as on impacts.

Weaknesses & Flaws

Flaws can go here. Balance is key! Conditional Magic (1): Requires Transmutation circle, raw materials for her Alchemy, clear knowledge of the shape, composition and other physical properties of the items she seeks to create. Though she can do some quick and basic Transmutations with her tattooed symbol, for anything complex, or with moving parts she will still need to draw a Transmutation circle. (Making this a one point flaw as none of her battle tactics require the complex method) Echoes (2): Your supernatural nature affects the world around you; Her powers can cause fried computers, erased credit cards, and can affect communication signals. EM Shielding may need to be provided for the comms/phones before she's even brought on board.
