Appearance

Almost the exact opposite of his partner Clementine in every way. The only thing that Dr.Tobias even seems threatening of, is boring one to death with nonstop lecture of things nonsensical. He is a mousey, meek man, with no outward appearance of being able to do anything ever extraordinary.

Personality

Energetic and curious, he absolutely loves to get involved with anything that tickles his fancy. A unquenchable thirst for knowledge pushes him forward at all times.

Background

A young ripper who is following the trail of a nefarious series of murders has joined with Clementine in an effort to put a stop to them. The two having bonded are now almost inseparable where one goes, the other is sure to follow. Dr.Tobias was a young lad who once studied medicine at the University of Cambridge, his fate already dealt to him in a low, doldrumish manner. He was to grow up, follow in his own father's footsteps, become a surgeon, marry a young woman, have 2.5 kids, and do nothing ever extraordinary...until one night a body, while working in the morgue, the body he was performing an autopsy on decided that it was time to get up. This was the first of many encounters that came after, that spiraled one after another, into him joining the Rippers, a secret organization of hunters who have deigned fit to use the monsters own weapons against them!

Special Abilities

• Tobias is a Ripper, a member of a secret organization of hunters that hide in London. Through the most advanced methods of science, they have learned how to use the monsters own weapons against them and as such Tobias can utilize parts of creatures to create things that can provide aid to his allies, or banes to his enemies.
  
  • Permanent Surgical Alterations:
    
    • Werewolf's Arm: Tobias has replaced his own that was lost in a hunt. This has given him the ability to transform his arm into a monsterous mixture of muscle, fur, and claw.
      
      • Side Effects: His arm is still very much a werewolf arm and if struck with silver it will revert temporarily back to normal human
    • Frankenstein Spine: Utilizing the spinal column of a creature made in a scientific lab, Tobias is capable of lifting and throwing extremely large amounts of weight.
      
    • Dead Man's Eye: From the corpse of a man who became a ghost, Tobias extracted an eyeball and implanted into his own head. This now allows him to see ghosts and other creatures even while invisible.
      
      • Side Effects: This ability cannot be turned off, the eye is a strange milky white and is always bloodshot.
  • Temporary Enhancements: Side Note: These are temporary buffs, and will not stack with each other. While Tobias, or an ally of his choosing can benefit from the Balm he makes from a Gorgon's eye and a Rage Ampoule, they cannot have two doses of the same medicine
    
    • Vampire Blood: Tobais carries three of these normally, made from Vampire Blood these can increase the body's natural healing response.
      
      • Side Effects: 24 Hours after the blood has been used, the subject experiences light sensitivity and craves red meat.
    • Vampire Ash: It has been observed that even if protected from the sun, Vampires are lethargic during the daytime hours. Using their ashes to create a powderbomb, anyone caught in it begin to experience the same delay in reactions
      
    • Werewolf Blood: Created from Werewolf blood. Tobias can grant someone temporary enhanced phsyical aptitude (stronger, faster, tougher).
      • Side Effects: This causes the body to produce far more adrenaline then normally allotted too, leading to extreme cases of anger, impatience, shaking hands, heart palpitations, and in some cases bloodlust. Afterwards, exhaustion is a very common symptom as is an increase in appetite
        
    • Werewolf Nose: Grinding down the nostrals of a werewolf, creates a small powder that, when snorted, proceeds to increase the natural acuity of one's senses.
      
    • Witch Tears: Using eye droplets created from tears of a spellcaster, usually female, users can see the ebb and flow of magic, and detect magical traces.
      
    • Gorgon Eyes: When made into a balm, can be spread onto skin to turn flesh into stone, granting increased damage resistance.
      
      • Warning: Rippers who often make use of a variety of ampoules may find that Gorgon Eye Balm can be a hinderance, the stone skin prevents the inject of any sort of chemical. Please proceed to use with utmost caution.
• Clear Sighted 3 - Having the Eye of a Dead Man in his head has granted him more then just the ability to see the ghosts of the world, it's allowed him to see through the illusions that wizards cast upon it
  
• Concentration 2 - Really, when operating on a live werewolf you have to keep your cool about such things...no room for slip up less the beast rip an arm off twice
  
• Pitiable 1 - How could anyone who looks like he wandered out of a library be any sort of threat, I mean..really.
  
• Ability Aptitude (Medicine) 1 - Certified for Surgery!
  

Items Of Note

• Degree from Cambridge: Dr.Tobias is infact, an actual Doctor, including with a medical specialty in neurology
  
• Extraction Kit: Never leaves home without it, useful little thing really, it has all the bells and whistles one would need to extract, gather, and catalog the findings of any Ripper.
  
• First Aid Kit: Another thing that one mustn't forget, quite handy in a pinch. Contains various things one would need to administer first aid on the field, including opiates.
  

Weaknesses & Flaws

• Despite his otherworldly enhancements he's still mostly the mortal human. Unless he's using a rage ampule or Gorgon Balm, his skin can be wrecked just as easily.
• Some of his recipes tend to have side-effects, these side-effects are listed by each one
• Offensive to Animals -1 - He is, if anything, an unnatural being now. Having part of a werewolf grafted onto him he tends to make drive animals away
  
• Otherworldy Taint -2 - The eye of a dead man, the arm of a werewolf, the spine of a monster....his aura certainly is off putting, and a general creepy vibe seems to pervade around him.
