SPECIAL ABILITIES, POWERS

Magus Mode

The Revelations of Glaaki. There are many copies and versions, but it is said that an old mythos scholar was able to compile all the pieces into one grimoire.

If Quine makes a contract with a magic user, she will be able to 'chibify herself' and grant her master the following powers for now:

  • Mist of Releh -- Quine is able to summon a mist a thick mist which can be used for escaping or pre-emptive attacking. (in game mechanics roll a d10 and add occult bonus if necessary. Players will then use their alertness to beat that number in order to see completely through the fog.)
  • A Spell of Shielding -- Quine is able to bring up a shield that looks like a pentacle made of magickal energy to block an oncoming attack coming for her master.
  • The Saaamaaa Ritual -- A stronger shielding spell. A pentacle appears on the ground and provides a complete surrounding bubbled barrier around her master. This spell takes longer to cast than A Spell of Shielding so it must be done with some preparation. This spell can also be used to contain the Render of the Veils from expanding outwards and swallowing everything.
  • Deadmaker Gauntlets -- Quine's masters arms will be covered with runic metal Gauntlets that provide incredible strength. The gauntlets can be fired like a rocket punch and then return to the user right after.
  • To Summon Visions of the Past -- A variant of Lord of Dead Dreams, Quine can go into a sleep mode and be able to sense beings that can 'dream'. This does not work on warded areas or barriers. In Sleep mode, Quine can also on occasion receive a clairvoyant warning (kind of like a passive danger sense).
  • Revelation of the Master -- Massive runic artillery will rise up around the Master's body and then unleash hell. This is an incredibly taxing attack and cannot be done often. MAKE OR BREAK ALL MOVE.
  • Sigil of The Green Decay - Quine is able to supply her master with sharp metallic bits that can be thrown at opponents. If it hits a target, it will seep into their skin and release a liquid with varying effects that can go as strong as making people unto undead slaves or simply work as a temporary truth serum that wears off but leaves a curse status. If the bit is pulled off the skin before the liquid seeps in, the target will still either die (if it's a strong one) or still get a cursed status.
  • Reveal the Render of Veils! - Quine is able to summon a Daolith with the power and help of her master. This is an INCREDIBLY dangerous summon that can only be done in times of great desperation. There are a few requirements to this spell: Daoloth's indescribable shape causes viewers to go mad at the sight of him; thus, he must be summoned in pitch-black darkness. If not held within some kind of magical containment, he continues to expand and expand—perhaps even at an infinite rate. Those enveloped by the god are transported to utterly bizarre and remote worlds, usually perishing as a result.

Servant Mode

  • Revelation of the Servant - Quine's only attack when she is not around her master. She is able to protrude sharp and malleable tendrils from her small body to rip people apart. She'll usually try to eat them afterwards.
  • Immortality - Quine cannot be destroyed by just being torn apart.. you can blow her up, smash her, rip her into shreds.. she'll eventually be brought back together.
  • Open the Mystic Portal - Quine can open a portal to any location she's been to previously. ..if this is a haphazard escape, there is a chance that she could open a portal to somewhere unwanted..
  • Lord of Dead Dreams - Quine sleeps and is able to make contact with a deity. When she does this, the deity is able to speak through Quine to those making contact. Kind of like Quine being the phone line connecting both parties to each other. Some of the deities that Quine can contact are just.. nuts. So. ...used to be at the masters' discretion.
    • To Invoke the Bearded One - Quine can contact Byatis, the deity of divination.
    • Behold the Glory of Glaaki! - Quine can contact Glaaki, the deity of wisdom.
    • Speak with the Messenger - Quine can contact Nyarlathotep, the faceless one.

Hunting Horror Mode

The Hunting Horror.

As the hunting horror, Quine still offers her master relatively the same abilities as in Magus Mode (including flight, shields, blasts), though altered. Her master's form would still have to shift into Magus to be able to use these specific spells:

  • Palms of Jericho -- Instead of forming gauntlets on the master's hands, a twin pair of Jericho 941's appear with runic symbols on each gun. The guns will fire concentrated mana blasts, however, the guns must be loaded with specific magazine charges that harness magical power. The bullets must be crafted before hand but the master can hold as many magazine cartridges as they can carry. These guys have been likened to the weapons that the Anticross legendary mage Nero wielded, but are considerably less powerful.
  • Lord of Dead Dreams -- In Hunting Horror Mode, when Quine sleeps, she will perform as a regular motorcycle would. .... however, if she wakes up.. she'll still be one psycho bike.
  • Revelation of the Master -- Massive runic artillery will rise up around the Master's body as well as the motorcycle and then unleash hell. This is an incredibly taxing attack and cannot be done often. MAKE OR BREAK ALL MOVE.
  • Sigil of The Green Decay - Quine is able to conjure sharp metallic bits that can be shot at opponents from the Hunting Horror's metallic exterior.

NOTABLE ITEMS

None. ...yet.

WEAKNESSES

  • Unstable - She can get disoriented if she doesn't know what's going on.. what's right from wrong. This only really happens if she is taken away from her master.
  • Narcoleptic - Quine will fall asleep at the weirdest times.. her body will still move on autopilot and actually follow along and do what she's told.
  • Not a fun Sleeper - When Quine is asleep it's hard to wake her up without getting her angry.. and during her sleeping she gets clairvoyant night terrors.
  • Psychotic - She really will go off the deep end if she's not reigned in by her master.
