Personality
Brash, loud, and fiery, Yui is quick to anger, but she also cares deeply for her friends. She's somewhat insecure of herself, and often postures or acts tough when in difficult situations.
Background
Yui Amano grew up with her mother and father in Tokyo. Born with the soul of a devil, but the body of a human, Yui attracted the unwelcome attention of exorcists, demon hunters, and fellow demons at a very young age. As Yui grew older she was given a set of Demon Eggs (A special item from the underworld that fuses with a corporeal host) in order to protect her human body from the raw power of her own demonic energy. She was trained briefly by Sword in the techniques of Ankokumatou Jutsu in order to help control herself, however, Sword didn't prove to be a very reliable teacher. Yui has yet to master control of herself. As a child, Yui lived not far from the Urameshi residence, and often terrorized Urameshi Umino, chasing him down the street, throwing eggs, that sort of thing. In Highschool, Yui ran with a gang known as the Hellfire Street Kings, and proceeded to cause minor trouble, wear her hair in a pompadour, hang outside of convenience stores, and give old people dirty looks. She'd occasionally fight with rival gangs too. After graduating Highschool, Yui, who had always secretly looked up to Umino, decided to roll into college and study 'something sciencey', in hopes of impressing him. She's currently on academic probation, and the fact that she was accepted into University to begin with remains something of a mystery.

Devil Egg: The Devil Egg is an item that is manifested in Yui's body. Two Tattoos are formed on her hands, that help control
her demonic Energy. The Egg itself is a small object that can only be removed via special dark magicks. It's an incredibly rare artifact, and highly valued amongst devils.
