Personality

Once known as a snarky little brat, he has changed much during his time with the Turks, developing a much more toned down and professional personality.

Background

When he was young, he was a bit of a whiny, snarky little brat. He has a lot of traveling experience under his belt, going from place to place with his father and his compatriots, even visiting Rocket Town for a while. His time with his father was interesting to say the least. He even trained with him as a sparring partner when he was older.Still very much an upstart up until joined the Turk, became much more of a professional in his few years of working with them, seeing as it is the general way of things with them. Though still relatively new compared to most of the members of the Turks, he is not one to be underestimated. Trained under not only his father,Reno, But Rude and Elena as well...Elena is probably were he got his more business like mannerisms from due to her 'by the book' way of doing things. Polite, through just a little chatty, his personality might be disarming to some. After building up his reputation with the Turks for a while he would be set to PARADIGM as a 'helping hand'. This true goals there however are unknown.

Personal Abilities

Neo Turk Light:Effectively a spell that acts much like flash bang, a small fire ball is shot from the user and explodes on the targets ,causing Confusion.
Pyramid: An ability that causes the enemy to encased in a status like field, through easily defeated by having an ally strike it from the outside, this ability allows for easy capture of targets with out actually hurting them.

Training
Eskrima:Eskrima, Arnis, and Kali are umbrella terms for the traditional martial arts of the Philippines ("Filipino Martial Arts," or FMA) that emphasize weapon-based fighting with sticks, knives and other bladed weapons, and various improvised weapons. It also includes hand-to-hand combat and weapon disarming techniques. This being said, Zane is rather brutal with his weapons, while he might not kill his opponent, he is not beyond snapping bones, breaking joints or causing major bodily trama.

Doble baston: Doble baston, and less frequently doble olisi, are common names for a group of techniques involving two sticks. The art is more commonly known around the world as Sinawali meaning "to weave". The term Sinawali is taken from a matting called sawali that is commonly used in the tribal Nipa Huts which is made up of woven pieces of palm leaf and used for both flooring and walls.

This technique requires the user to use both left and right weapons in an equal manner; many co-ordination drills are used to help the practitioner become more ambidextrous. It is the section of the art that is taught mainly at the intermediate levels and above and is considered one of the most important areas of learning in the art.

Sinawali:Sinawali refers to the activity of "weaving", as applied Eskrima with reference to a set of two-person, two-weapon exercises.

Sinawali exercises provide eskrima practitioners with basic skills and motions relevant to a mode of two-weapon blocking and response method called Doblete. Sinawali training is often introduced to novices in order to develop certain fundamental skills including: body positioning and distance relative to an opponent, rotation of the body and the proper turning radius, recognition of one’s center of gravity, eye–hand coordination, target perception and recognition, increased ambidexterity, recognition and performance of rhythmic structures for upper body movement, and muscular developments important to the art, especially, the wrist and forearm regions. It helps teach the novice eskrimador proper elbow positioning while swinging a weapon.

Marksman: His training with Elena would give him more then just good manners. A rigorous training regiment using various small arms was assigned to him, everything from various pistols to SMGs, and one or two assault rifles. Not only does he know how to use them he is well practiced if the need arises.

Hand to Hand Adept: Under the guidance of Rude, Zane would pick up a few forms of martial arts. Not an expert in the field mind you, he knows enough to fight back effectively if caught with out his weapons. Even with his weapons this adds a few new and interesting moves to his arsenal.

Powers & Merits

Limit Breaks
Tier 1
Heat Saber Charging up the internal generators of the batons, Zane starts up the Laser emitter in the weapons , turning them into a pair of laser swords!.

Tier 2
Sweeping Ray: With a swing of the Baton, a small laser fires out from the end and sweeps across the field, quickly followed by a chain of explosions. much like the Tail Laser of a certain boss.
Satellite Strike:By flinging one of the Batons into the air and with careful aim of a Bolt 2, the internal generator of the Baton releases a focused laser strike on a single target and is fulled up by an explosion.<bt>

Tier 3
Mana Cannon Zane quickly pulls out and assembles a small strange looking pistol. Once snapped to gather it starts to draw mana out of the air. Once aimed it will fire a massive ray at a target.

Tier 4
Chaotic Dance:Flinging both Batons to the air, he draws on the power of his Materia, The batons burst open into small satellites.. with a snap of the finger the orbiting mini satellites link up with Zane in a strange blue like .. and then unleash a storm of fireballs, lightning bolts and ice shards.

Merits

Daredevil (3): You love to take risks, and are damn good at living through them. +2 Bonus when risking your life. This actually stacks with other merits (like Crack Driver), so you can be extremely good at risking your life. ...but if you fail you might die, so..

Self-Confident (5): One free successful roll during a mission, due to the strength of your self-confidence. This only comes into effect regarding rolls at difficulty 6 or higher. As with other rolls, this does not apply in combat (as your enemy is probably just as sure of himself as you are), but when it's time to get something done, you -know- it comes down to you.

ShinRa Alpha: Top of the line ShinRa arm guard, for Turk use only. Helps diminish impact and redistribute it.

Weaknesses & Flaws

Group Enmity (2):(Deepground Sympathizers, Wutai, and People who hate ShinRa in general as well probably.) Some group amongst your kind, i.e. another clan/tribe/tradition/whatever, doesn't like you and may prevent you going places you might otherwise go or may otherwise give you hell in a variety of ways.

Compulsion (1):(Gambling) You have a specific compulsion which may cause you problems. You might need to roll (Diff 6) to resist this.
