Appearance
Red Hands is a tall, imposing yautja. He has the typical black quills flowing from his head that are similar in appearance to dreadlocks, as well as the incredibly ugly mandibled face characteristic of his kind. As with other yautja he has no visible nose, and his skin is dry and dark brown, reptile-like in appearance.
However, when on Earth he usually wears his mask described below, which hides his face.
Personality
Red Hands is somewhat of a peculiarity among yautja. While loving the hunt as much as his kin, he seems to have taken an interest in going on hunts largely with other species rather than yautja hunting parties. He delights in finding worthy hunters of other races, and gains more satisfaction from hunts with meaning behind them outside of the mere thrill of the hunt. Enjoying fair fights as he does, Red Hands is known to forego the use of his more sophisticated weaponry if he believes it will provide him with an enjoyable enough fight.
That said, he holds his comrades to high standards, and it’s easy to injure your relationship with him if you do something he sees as dishonorable.
Background
Red Hands is a Blooded hunter. Having successfully killed at least one xenomorph, Red Hands has gained the privilege to go on hunts of his choosing and carry more advanced weaponry. In his travels he became intrigued by the hunting and fighting habits of other races, and became unusually open to working alongside them. He has since preferred to go on group hunts, though occasionally he will go on solo missions.

Powers & Merits
Durable: Like all yautja, Red Hands is durable. He can recover from multiple gunshot wounds with minimal medical attention, and can survive radiation doses that would be fatal to humans.
Yautja Strength: Red Hands is as strong as any yautja, capable of shattering solid concrete with a punch.
Strong Legs: Red Hands can jump up to three times his own height, and can fall ten times his height and land on his feet without injury.
Infrared Vision: Yautja vision is naturally infrared, seeing the heat emanating from various sources, including living organisms. This makes non-magical invisibility useless against him.
Amazing Blood: Yautja blood partially neutralizes the acidic effects of Xenomorph blood, and if the flesh and blood of a yautja is consumed it can increase a human’s lifespan.
Catlike Balance (2): Difficulties for balance-related Athletics rolls are at -1.
Common Sense (1): You are full of practical wisdom. A great merit for starting characters, as you may receive advice from the GM regarding how to handle certain situations.
Iron Will (5): You cannot be mind-controlled easily, and getting you to surrender is borderline impossible. When magical (or other) mind-control is attempted on you, both roll and you get a +3 bonus to your roll. It's possible to do it, but you'll fight it with every fiber of your being, and will not stay in thrall very long.
Code of Honor (1): You follow a strict personal code, and any attempt to make you break it or act against it via magic or other unnatural coercion (regular coercion is basically impossible) is done with an opposed roll in which you have a +2 bonus. You must write down your code of honor with a GM, and it must be followed at all times. If you break it for frivolous or even worthy reasons, you risk losing your bonuses, because a Code is to be followed for good or ill.
- Hunting Worthy Game: Red Hands will not hunt the defenseless, children, or the sick. If one of these show themselves to be a threat after all, they’re fair game.
- Claiming the Kill of Another: To take the kill of another, living or dead, is considered to be a great insult. If someone is engaged in a fight that Red Hands considers “theirs”, then he will not help unless asked.
- Killing Yautja: Red Hands will not kill another Yautja unless in self-defense or if the Yautja is a Bad Blood. Killing is also permitted in a wrestling match between two Yautja to settle a dispute.
- Hunting for Food: Red Hands will only take the weak when hunting for food, to purify the species’ line.
- Mercy: Those who defeat Red Hands in a fair fight and show him mercy are considered an equal and are to be treated as such.
Loyalty (1): Red Hands is devoted to his peoples’ secrets, and will not give up any Yautja technology. Any attempts to make him betray this is done with an opposed roll where you get a +2 bonus. Again, like the code of honor, you must always be loyal to this person or risk losing this benefit.
Unique Items
Bio-Mask: This mask serves as protection and a breathing apparatus, as well as providing various vision modes, language translation, and other functions.
- Infrared: In this mode Red Hands sees in the natural vision of the yautja.
- EMF: In this mode, Red Hands can detect interference given off by electronic devices, allowing him to see hidden electronics. This also allows Red Hands to detect the electromagnetic field given off by heart beats. This is the primary mode he uses to hunt Xenomorphs.
- Ultraviolet: In this mode, Red Hands can perceive ultraviolet light. This is mostly useful in giving him clarity of vision, able to make out details of someone's appearance rather than somewhat vague blobs or outlines.
- Targeting System: The Bio-Mask contains the targeting system used by his Plasma Caster. The targeting laser this system projects is also capable of heating up metal objects held closely in front of it.
- Voice Translator/Recorder: Red Hands can translate the languages of those he speaks with, and also record and playback what they say.
Wrist Gauntlet: The heart and soul of Red Hands’ technological loadout, surgically grafted on his left wrist. It governs his bio-mask’s alternate vision modes, and if it is damaged he cannot switch between them. It also powers his cloaking device and plasma caster.
- Self Destruct Device: This device enables Red Hands to activate a short countdown that ends in a large explosion that covers an area of roughly 300 city blocks. This is a last resort only, used to prevent yautja technology from falling into alien hands if Red Hands is defeated.
- Sat-Com: Red Hands can download maps of an area into his wrist gauntlet, and display them in a 3D Holographic Image that projects from his gauntlet.
- Power Punch Glove: This weapon extends from the gauntlet to cover Red Hands’ hand, allowing him to deliver strikes that would otherwise crush his fist.
Items Of Note
Wrist Blades: These eighteen-inch long retractable, serrated wrist blades are stored within a gauntlet he wears on his right arm.
Plasma Caster: Mounted on his left shoulder, the plasma caster is a long range weapon that fires armor-penetrating plasma bolts that burst into plasma shrapnel upon striking their target. Its targeting is controlled through his Bio-Mask.
Spear Gun: This small, pistol-like weapon fires a spike of metal at a target with enough force to shatter stone. It has a small groove down the middle, intended to facilitate the target bleeding out if the spike becomes stuck in their skin.
Combi-Stick: This is a telescopic spear-like weapon that Red Hands uses in close quarters. He can also throw it like a spear.
Net Launcher: This small hand-held device launches a wire net at targets which Red Hands intends to trap and injure. Once attached to a surface, the net will begin to automatically tighten, cutting into the skin of whatever is trapped in it.
Whip: Made out of a Xenomorph’s tail, Red Hands’ whip is a flexible slashing weapon that can wrap around an opponent and, when pulled after doing so, slice them in half.
Cloaking Device: This cloaking device bends light to cause Red Hands to appear nearly invisible. A silhouette similar to heat haze can still be seen if one looks closely, and the device tends to short circuit as long as it’s exposed to water. His Wrist Blade, when extended, is not covered by the cloak.
Medi-Kit: This kit contains a shrapnel extractor, two wound clamps, a stimulant shot, and a tube of antiseptic.
Weaknesses & Flaws
Respiratory Difficulties: Red Hands needs his Bio-Mask to survive for long periods of time in Earthlike atmospheres. Without his Bio-Mask, he can only survive for a week at most.
Limited Vision: Red Hands’ natural infrared vision, while often handy, possesses the limitation of being unable to differentiate between objects of the same relative temperature. It’s hard for him to make out facial features and the like. And beings with naturally cold body temperatures are essentially invisible to him.
Monstrous (3): Red Hands is literally ‘Predator’ ugly.. Social rolls get -3 Penalty.
Outsider (2): Other yautja think that Red Hands is strange for preferring to hunt with races other than his own kind. +2 penalty on all social rolls when interacting with Yautja.
