Appearance
Kuraihoshi is a slender young japanese woman with long legs and pale silky skin. Her hair is medium length, barely reaching her shoulders, and she dresses in dark but fashionable clothing. She has a refined, elegant look to her.
Personality
Kuraihoshi is soft spoken but firm. She knows what she wants and isn't shy to say it, but she dislikes loud noises and acts a bit like everywhere is a library.
Background
Growing up on the outskirts of Saga City, Kuraihoshi's family owns a small peaceful shrine that she was required to help with growing up, working as a shrine maiden. In helping to write signs and advertisements for her family's shrine she grew to develop a love for calligraphy, and started to engage in the art even in her off time. She was so busy with her family's shrine and so absorbed in her hobby otherwise that she had little time for socializing and so grew up with very few friends. This only got worse when she awoke to her destiny as a sailor senshi...

- Bellatrix Star Power, Make Up!: Dark tendrils surround Kuraihoshi, darkness swallowing her until she looks like her own shadow, until the darkness melts away to reveal her in her senshi outfit. As Sailor Bellatrix, no one is able to guess her real identity unless they see her transform right in front of them. She also gains her weapon, the Dark Matter Blade, a large ring blade.
- Shadow Step: Bellatrix can step into one shadow and out of another, as long as the exit point is in her line of sight.
- Perfect Dark: Bellatrix can see perfectly in total darkness.
- Me and My Shadow: Sailor Bellatrix can swap places with her shadow instantly, usually using it to cause enemies to miss a swing at her.
- Black Parade: She can form shadowy tendrils out of the shadows in the area, causing them to lash out or grab onto any nearby enemies.
- Black Hole Sun: This ability plays out over three rounds. In the first round, Sailor Bellatrix summons all shadows in an area to coalesce into a black orb above her, causing the area around her in a twenty food radius to become pitch black as long as she maintains the orb. In the second round the orb draws all light in the area to itself, causing a halo of light to appear around it and plunging the entire area into total darkness. Finally, in the third round, Bellatrix points at an enemy and the gathered shadow and light fires at them in a powerful beam of combined darkness and light. The normal levels of shadow and light then return to the area.
Catlike Balance (2): Difficulties for balance-related Athletics rolls are at -1.
Light Sleeper (1): You can function on very little sleep, and so are less likely to suffer penalties for losing sleep. You are also more likely to awaken quickly, and so may not get caught blindsided about something that may wake you up.
Concentration (1): You are very good at focusing, and suffer no penalty for distractions, stress or having to repeat yourself often.
Nightsight (3): You can see in near-total darkness. You may, however, be sensitive to bright light, and sudden bright light may dazzle you for a turn or two.

Dark Matter Blade: A large ring blade, Kuraihoshi is capable of using this to slice and dice her foes in a dazzling display of combat that almost looks like a dance at times. The blade is steeped in the dark element, causing it to do darkness damage as well as physical damage. If she throws this blade, it will return to her. It can also be combined with most of her abilities, such as throwing it into one shadow so that it comes out of another, or sprouting tendrils of darkness from it.

Weaknesses & Flaws

Blinding Light: Kuraihoshi's powers are reliant on the availability of darkness and shadows. Where there is light, there is darkness. But there is such a thing as too much. Anything that obliterates any shadow, even temporarily, such as a flashbang or some overpowering source of light, can disrupt her powers.
Isolated Upbringing (1): You were raised in your supernatural society, or were somehow otherwise sequestered away from "normal" life, so you have trouble dealing with this Outside-World thing. Dealing with any community outside the one in which you were raised raises a -1 Penalty on Social rolls, when RP'ing accomodates it.
Compulsive Speech (aka Big Mouth) (1): For whatever reason, you have difficulty sticking to the rule, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all." 1 point makes you talkative and a bit blunt; 2 points makes you a complete prick.
