Background

Growing up in a world of magical heroes with two of them being his own parents! To say Vespera lives an exciting life is a bit of an understatement. From a young age he was following the path of his family as the Musical Magical Boy, Evening Star. He would often run off into the night to play hero unbeknownst to them. Even with the world in check and the rifts that would appear in his home world are usually tamed, he had plenty of room for adventure in his younger years. Now he works as a magical researcher for Arinborn Inc as well as an up and coming doctor within Shirocorp.

Special Abilities

Harmony

• Under a Violet Moon: A mass buff to the party that allows them to strike foes with a body beyond the physical. All heroes gain Ethereal Damage as an attack option!
• Sun Daze: A Mass endure elements song. Should help out in areas with harsh conditions.

Melody

• Northern Star:Notes of healing! So long as he keeps playing this tune he can heal people with his magical powers. The soothing melodys ease the soul and start to repair damage done to the living.
• Eclipse of the Heart: A standard spell for a magical boy! Notes of Purification. Generally this is a single target spell. He may need to charge it up by playing more notes along side it. Doing this how ever will also let him turn it into an AOE.
• Blue Moon: A spell shield that Vesper can give to another or himself to possibly absorb the next attack on them! Once the shield takes one hit, it shatters and becomes no more.
• Honey Sun: A spell of healing in a different nature. This instead of healing physical wounds attempts to deal with poisons as well as other aliments of that nature. Calming the person hearing it so that their body can focus on healing.
• Shooting Star: Playing a few notes just before pulling the bow back will super charge the arrow into a Shooting Star! This attack explodes on contact with an enemy, causing knock back on him and any nearby!
• Seven Stars: Plucking a few key notes turns one arrow into seven ethereal rays the can either home in on one target or spread over several!.
• Black Hole Sun: Plucking a few notes and firing an arrow into the air, A miniature black hole is forming in the area! Not really all that dangerous as it targets foes and lifts them off the ground for a round, attempting to immobilize them. ..Perhaps it could also be used to make something heavy weightless.

Preformance

• Moonlight Shadow: With a few key notes played he can turn himself as well as one other that stays in contact with him invisible. This can not be used along side his other abilities. Using his songs will cancel out this effect.

Powers & Merits

• Evening Star: Magical Boy form! Comes with the standard array of enhancements like personal magical shielding, a host of powers through music, as well as a nifty disguise.
• Perfected Performance: Vespera can play one Harmony as a passive party buff, while playing that Harmony he has access to his 'Melody' spell list. Switching Harmonys takes a turn and he can't use a Melody in that turn.
• Concentration (1): You are very good at focusing, and suffer no penalty for distractions, stress or having to repeat yourself often.
• Soothing Voice (2):You have an entrancing voice. When using your voice (speeches, singing, poetry), you get a +2 Bonus on Social rolls. When making casual conversation, +1 Bonus.
• Danger Sense (3): "Oh no! My Spider Senses are tingling!" A successful Alertness roll, difficulty depending on the situation, will give you a timely sense of foreboding before something bad happens...

Unique Items

• Inner Universe: This is his Transformation item. It is what turns him into Evening Star!
• Celestial Strings: Evening Star's weapon. A bow guitar! He uses it to cast his spells and snap off ethereal arrows.

Items Of Note

• Doctor's Bag: A set of minor tools used for medical operations.
• Etrophantasy Antidote: Antidote for a really crasy drug.

Weaknesses & Flaws

• Conditional Magic (2): All his spell casting HAS to be done in song form in one way or another, Either by singing or using an instrument.
• Otherworldly Taint (2): The ends of his hair fade from his already unnatural silver hair to a light blue thanks to his alter ego. His eyes are also purple. Those with any kind of magical sense (D7) Can make out there is much more to him than meets the eye.
• Group Enmity (2):: Being a magical boy has earned him malice from the monster community. Dark creatures tend to hate and despise him.
