Background

Humanity has a thirst for knowledge and a will to grasp the stars. Elara is no different. Born of the foremost researcher of celestial bodies and the foremost knowledgeable mage within the Tsab. Elara is an ever curious and bright mind. She doesn't work for the TSAB but is a device user like their mages. Elara was unfortunately a victim of ever present birth complications including being blind and deaf. Thanks to years of work by her parents, she was able to see and hear the world by age 8 through extensive surgery and the inclusion of her device. Eager to show her parents her gratitude for this miracle work,she took up the scientist mantle. She is able to experience the world thanks to science and now she dutifully gives back to the same community with vigor.

Special Abilities

• Meteor Stance: if you take a look at Eclipse, you will notice that it is basically a Great Mace. As such, El is trained to use it like a polearm/Staff.

‘Spells’

• Barrier Jacket MKIV: Full suite of mage armor complete with life support and extreme temperature protection, (She can dive into lava or the sun mind you). It is basically mage armor and a sealed space suit.

• Spectrum Beam: Laser beams! Pew pew pew, comes in Beam Magnum and spray modes, Can be augmented with Divine Encode.

• Refractor Strike: Using the Satellite Moths, El has a semi Fin funnel attack. Though she does have to bounce her own lazer into them so it can be predictable.

• Moonlight Buster: It's a human sized buster cannon attack. Though it requires the Moths to fan out and gather ambient power from the area.

• Refractor wall: Big ole energy shield. Comes in wall and cube flavors. The Cube can grant life support and environmental protection.

• Gravity Bind: Creates a localized gravity well that attempts to slow or even lock targets in place

• Scan: Not .. really a spell. Eclipse scans stuff to try and gather information or possible weakness/Weak points.

• Divine Encoder Savant: She can actually change the elemental force behind her Spectrum Beam! This does change how they function a bit.
  • Ice: Might freeze stuff/cause Ice buildup
  • Fire: Burn stuff
  • Lightning: Zap! Maybe charge tech
  • Wind: Non-lethal. Can be used as a means of propelling self or others.
  • Void: Gravity, Armor and possibly shield shredder, Zero effect on human bodies.
  • Light: The basic Laser. Pew pew.

Powers & Merits

• Linker Core: Her power source for some of her magic. It's an organ that stores mana.

• Silent communication: Through her Linker core she can tap into comms and talk through them without needing to actually speak.

Unique Items

• Eclipse Star: A Nanoha style canon staff and device. Acts as her weapon and AI assistant.
• Satellite Moths: These are small moth-like robot drones that make their home on the staff and can act as communication, scouts, and can reflect light or project small shields. It can allow El to remote access computers too.

Items Of Note

Pepper: The family robo dog. Is an android pupper.

Weaknesses & Flaws

• EMP: At the end of the day? All her stuff is tech based. So an Emp can render her a normal human. Not only that, but El is very reliant on Eclipse to augment her sight and hearing

• Deep Sleeper (1): She sleeps in too
• Hard of Hearing (1): Can be corrected if she has Eclipse Star on her in any mode.
• Bad Sight (1): Fixed by having E Star on her in any form
• Color Blind (1): Fixed with E Star.
• Slow Healing (3): For some reason, your healing processes are slow, and you heal twice as slowly as others. Supernatural healing only repairs half the damage it normally would (round down).
