Personality
Loki is mostly shunning responsibility. He will avoid taking charge when he can, though has little patients for fools and terrible decisions. Otherwise is a well behaved man who may speak out of turn. However, if the situation demands it, or his pride is offended, starts acting like he's the lord of the place and lets others know their place.
Mostly a moral and honorable (to others, at least) man, Loki is generally friendly on stormy days and more reserved on bright ones. Overcast days can go either way. Is considerably more excitable at night, especially if outside, as if he were nocturnal. Which he is.
Background
Loki was born of the union from the Shadow Tribe's leader's brother, Aleksandr Skaarsgard and one of the Silver Tribe's leading women, Nadia Snežana Rustovia, a marriage of political convenience to keep the peace and stability between the leading Silver Tribe and the aspiring Shadow Tribe. Being second in line for the leadership of the Shadow Tribe, Loki was sent to one of the Shadow Tribe's oldest and wisest splinter lodge, the Hakken Shadows, living in Japan since the first white men sailed there in the 18th century.
Loki was raised by his mother and father in relative seclusion in a remote mountain village of Japan, suspected to have been built long ago by a ninja clan. There he learned about his history, his people's ways, and why he was being raised far away from the others in his Tribe. Very little of this made sense to Loki, who took that name both as a reference to the Norse God of mischief as a child, and because it was just easier to say for Japanese natives than 'Ludovic Osglaf'.
Raised as a warrior noble by the Hakken for all his life, Loki assumed when he turned 18 he could just go to America or Australia and avoid having to be present at ridiculous tribal functions as a figurehead, as he was forbidden from meeting his cousin, so Europe was off-limits. However, fate would get in the way when his cousin was killed before he was to be declared leader of the tribe. The duties of leadership fell on Loki, and he wanted nothing to do with them.
A mostly rebellious youth, Loki found the ancient ways and traditions counterproductive and ridiculously outdated. He thought the division of tribes just led to more and more war and death, like the one of his cousin which burdened him with something he really never wanted. When offered the Glaive of rulership, Loki instead left on what he called a spirit quest, but was in fact just him avoiding having to do this, leaving the Shadow Tribe to the council of elders, the ones who basically held all the power anyways.
This, obviously, did not go well with others of his tribe, but due to his lineage and power, it was incredibly hard for them to send someone competent enough to bring him back, though they tried. Some were actually convinced by Loki's powerful presence, others were cowed into backing off through judicious applications of wanton violence. The only man Loki feared coming after him has not.. yet, and that is his father.

Powers & Merits
Werewolf: Put simply, Loki is a werewolf of the Shadow Tribe. He can transform into two (actually four, more on that below) forms which are better suited for combat and travel, making him a fierce and deadly opponent to just about anything.
All Alternate Forms: Heightened Senses, Supernatural Reflexes, Supernatural Fangs and Claws (able to damage supernatural entities), Speaking.
Combat Form: The classic Man-Wolf form from the movies. Nine feet tall, three times heavier, covered in pure wired muscle and with powerful claws and fangs.
- Supernatural Strength: The Combat form gives Loki incredible strength, higher than just about any animal short of the largest pachyderms
- Healing Factor: Any wound not made by silver will heal almost instantly. It still takes quite a bit out of him if he's hit too hard, but typical weapons like low caliber bullets or smaller blades will heal up almost immediately. Like Wolverine in the X-Men movies, really.
Wolf Form: Loki can transform into a full wolf. As a wolf, he has all the abilities of said animal, and his senses are even sharper than the wolf's. His running speed and endurance is incredibly high in this form, and his agility is unmatched.
Fierce Form: Between the Man and Man-Wolf form, Loki can grow his claws and fangs even as a human and bulk up a bit. He can pass for normal but appears more gruff and buff than he does in his usual form, so for people who know him, it's quite the change. He's also more hirsute like this.
Dire Wolf Form: Between the Combat form and the Wolf form, Loki can turn into a wolf roughly the size of a lion. Not as fast as the wolf form and not as strong as the Combat form, it's a good way to intimidate beasts and an even better way to scare people. He calls it the 'Big Bad Wolf' form.
Shadow Tribe Lord: Loki is the next in line for leadership of the Shadow Tribe. As such, he has inside him the blood of (werewolf) kings, which gives him certain advantages over normal people and even over typical lycanthropes.
Heightened Senses: Loki, even as a human, has the senses of a beast of prey.
Healing Factor: Loki can heal incredibly quickly, even in human form. This SAID, he can be killed even without silver in that form and cannot regrow organs without being transformed, so only flesh wounds and heavy blunt trauma can be healed relatively quick. When transformed, he has a lot more healing ability.
Voluntary Shapeshifting: Unlike other Werewolves, Loki can transform at will.. almost. Taking the combat form will require him to rest for an hour at least before taking it again, but he can do this regardless of the moon's phase, or the time of day. However, when the full moon is out, Loki is CONSIDERABLY more bestial and instinctual, even if he doesn't have to transform, he's going to want to.More importantly, though, Loki can generate claws even as a human or a wolf, allowing him to do considerably more damage.
Curse of Fenris: Loki can infect other people with Lycanthropy. Anyone he bites with the will to make them into a werewolf will become cursed like the classic werewolves. These werewolves (and other Shadow Tribe-cursed werewolves, actually) are forced to obey Loki's will on the nights of the full moon, the one night they transform. Their curse, however, is not contagious. This power exists for the Tribe Lords to make shock troops in case of battle, one night out of the month.
Shadow Tribe Gifts: As a lord of the Shadows, Loki has access to the spiritual gifts of the tribe. These abilities are NOT shared by any other werewolves in the tribe, only the line or rulership can call upon the spirits in this way.
Lord of Beasts: Loki can cow and summon beasts before him or that he's met before. His will supercedes their own and they will instinctively follow him. This is a power that requires concentration and focus. A dog will not run him to him and accept him as his master for no reason, and he cannot make animals who hate each other work together (nature can be subsumed, but never ignored). However, if he meets a beast and gives it an order, it has to obey to the best of it's ability, so long as it's in Loki's presence.
Lord of Storms: One a (cloudy, rainy, overcast, or stormy) day, Loki can summon or dispel the storm. He cannot make a hurricane, but he can enhance one already in his presence. This summoning (it counts as a use of the power) allows Loki to move unhindered and undamaged through any natural storm or hurricane. This power is perfect for stealth and intimidation, and if circumstances present themselves, war or destruction. He CANNOT call lightning down upon someone, but he can play the odds (if someone is flying high above them holding a large sword, he's probably a lightning rod) or make a hand to hand fight much more difficult (in muddy or sliding terrain).
Lord of War: Loki can use the Shadow Tribe's Glaive or Rulership. This Glaive is incredibly powerful and will strike whoever else tries to use it with lightning, the power of the Shadow Tribe. However, he does not possess it due to his refusal to become leader.
Concentration: (1pt) Due to his always preternaturally sharp senses, Loki is able to ignore the hell out of external stimuli.
Animal Magnetism: (1pt) Loki's very nature makes him a babe magnet, basically. He has a predatory draw to him and his presence is always pleasing to members of both sexes.
Graceful: (2pts) Even for a warrior, Loki's movements are boneless and water-like.
Catlike-Balance: (2pts) Loki's unnatural grace extends from his lupine powers into his everyday life.
Clear Sighted: (3pts) Loki's senses, spiritual awareness and combat training has made him wary of illusions and deceptions.
Danger Sense: (3pts) Loki cannot be taken by surprise and trying to ambush him with his mix of abilities is basically asking to fail.
Unique Items
Silver Sword: A Hakken-made Katana, the Silver Sword is the weapon Loki chose instead of the Glaive of Rulership, something far less powerful but a very strong Werewolf weapon reguardless.
Binding: The Silver Sword is bound to Loki. It's powers are not activated without his touch, and the sword turns into a rune on his body when he doesn't need it anymore.
Silver: The Silver Sword is made of ...well, silver, which is incredibly damaging to Werewolves and several other supernaturals.
Spiritual: The spirits have blessed this weapon with incredible supernatural power, allowing it to cause damage to any mystical creature without extra protection.
Unbreakable: Not quite true, but nothing natural can break this sword. The spirits involved in it's forging will protect it from anything less powerful than it.
Dancing Blade: The true power of Loki's (not all) Silver Sword, Loki can plead with the spirits to assist him, in which case the sword will fight on it's own alongside Loki.
Items Of Note
Travel clothes, a trench coat to hide his things.
Weaknesses & Flaws
Silver: The big one. This will kill Loki. He's dangerously allergic to it in all forms but the human form, even the touch of silver burns his flesh. Wounds made from silver WILL NOT HEAL unless extra precautions are taken, and so even a simple stab can kill Loki if no extra healing procedures are taken. The only way for Loki to heal is for him to stay in his (weak) human form and go through the process of natural healing in a hospital (it will require surgery, disinfection and stitches), or magical healing. This is no laughing matter. Silver is the bane of all werewolves.
Wolfsbane: Loki cannot transform in the presence of Wolfsbane, and if forcefully ingested it will make him sick in ways I will not describe here but the porcelain god will be worshiped and desecrated a lot. HOWEVER, it will not kill him and it's not poisonous to him, the most a weapon dipped in it will do would be to make him itch like mineral wool. A LOT. However, other werewolves are poisoned by it and repels them, and cursed werewolves will die from it or run from it's presence.
Moon: The moon plays havoc with Loki. On a new moon, he's more playful. On a crescent moon, he's more introspective. On a half moon, judgmental. On a gibbous moon, more poetic, and on a full moon his instincts are always on the surface. Loki himself is aware of these effects and can NORMALLY resist the urges, but if tired or stressed he might just give into them. Explaining his actions the next day might be a pain.
Intolerance: Idiots (1pt) Loki hates taking charge, but he will not suffer fools and will take charge if he feels they're idiots.
Sensation Junkie (2pts) Loki loooooves to live dangerously, but it doesn't always work out for him (so he doesn't have Daredevil as a Merit).
Otherworldly Taint (2pts) Loki's eyes always have that bestial, predatory look to them. It's quite obvious, and his shadow always looks a bit bigger than it should.
Group Enmity (2pts) The Silver Tribe would most benefit from Loki's death before he ascends to the throne, and hate him for the links to their own noble lines.
