His country, however, lay between the Divine Unification Army and the [[Tenpouin Samurai Army\|Yasha Dominion]] in the south. Knowing full well there was no way to assemble an army strong enough in numbers, he instead focused on making every member of his army as strong as he could. When he found the actual best of the best, he recruited them to be part of his personal retinue, and trained them even harder, with each other as sparring partners, forming an elite of four which can carry the weight of an army on their own, instead of depending on strength of numbers or superior quality of weapons, giving his country a fighting chance.<br>
