The incident reunited old friends and sparked Kouhei's curiosity about the spiritual world and his own spiritual abilities. Ichigo instantly objects to Rukia's suggestion of training Kouhei's latent spiritual abilities, stating it was too dangerous for a kid but that didn't stop Rukia from coming back a second time to the living realm again to give Ichigo and Orihime a nameless and powerless katana for their son when the time was right.
