Stoic and mostly quiet, Golbez only speaks when he has something important to say. He keeps his thoughts to himself on most subjects. He appears to still harbor a great amount of ill feelings towards his own sins.

== Background ==

After the events of the Crystal War (FF4), Golbez was thrown into an inter-dimensional cycle against the forces of Cosmos and Chaos. After finally breaking the cycle on the thirteeth battle, Golbez was returned to his world to continue atoning for his sins.
