He demonstrated a specialty for Fire magic, so when he got old enough to leave.. which is apparently at age 10, somehow.. he took the name Blaze and set out to make a living for himself as the Silver Mage, reflective of his hair and general appearance.<br>

Eventually, he came across Ipsen Castle, an abandoned castle in an abandoned land which used to house a powerful wizard. Obviously, Blaze went in, spells.. heh.. blazing. It wasn't an easy task, but over the course of many months.. maybe even years.. he managed to clear out the castle, room by room, bit by bit, and declared himself the King of Ipsen, intending to forge his name and dynasty from there. Thankfully, the previous inhabitant of the castle had several spellbooks and magical theory items all over, which allowed Blaze to learn the spells he did not have access to, including that wizard's signature spell.<br>
