== Appearance ==
A fairly tall and wiry young woman, she has wild, unkept green hair that falls down her back.  She has brown eyes, is rather light skinned, and has ears that come up and end in a point.  She's always wearing the latest in fashion- whether it be punk or chic, depending on the situation and her mood.

Her ears, while normally being as pale as the rest of her body, can start to turn black, and look almost scaley.  It starts at the tip, and over time- unless reversed- will cover the whole of her ear.

Her eyes, too, can have some supernatural elements.  When the conditions are right, her iris' will start to grow, and then glow.  At the most, her eyes will be completely brown, glowing like a soft, brown, night light.

== Personality ==
Apple typically finds herself just vowing to enjoy her days as much as possible.  She tries to keep things balanced in her life- her work, her schooling, her personal life.  To an extent, she tries to avoid conflict... however, she can easily become excited and therefore jump into any conflict she would otherwise stay out of.  Especially if said conflict involves her or her friends directly.  Otherwise, she's an outgoing person who likes trying as many new things as possible.  She definitely can have moments of pure childishness, though.   
Her personality regarding her other natures are explained in their respective sections... She, normally, is NOT fond of her other natures.

== Background ==

Once upon a time, a young man who had trouble believing his true heritage was wandering through a forest, and came upon a grove.  In the middle of that grove, there was a beautiful woman, nude, but glorious in nature.  In his troubled frame of mind, he did not notice that she was actually rooted to the ground, nor did he notice her chimed voice was pretty silent through most of their encounter.  He took her in that grove, and then they parted ways- each needing to return to their normal lives.

The woman returned to her home tribe, of dryads, in Italy.  She found that she had a seed larger than most others, and soon realized she was pregnant. She also realized that the blood of this child was much different from any other than had been borne by her species.  This child's blood was much, much darker.  The woman decided to take another pilgrimage, without notifying any of her kin what was going on.

The half-breed child was born, to the dryad woman, alone.  However, the dryad woman's tribe was worried for her, and some went to follow her.  When they found her, she had had the child already.  And they saw that the child's non-fae blood was not part human, but was part demon.  It was taboo to have a halfling as it was in a world more savvy about its surroundings- but to have one with '''demon''' blood went above and beyond what the elder dryads allow.  While a few went back to report the bastard child, the rest tried to apprehend the child and her mother.  But, her mother slipped away.  Using magic, the mother gave her child very rudimentary instructions- how to escape, where to go... what man to look for.  The child was scared and confused, but her mother insisted she go anyway.  And departed.

So, the child did as her mother bade.  She formed into a little sapling, and went underground.  She traveled many miles until she came to the wood where she had been conceived.  From there, she was not sure where to go.. but, she had to look for the man her mother described.

She eventually found him, by walking up to a random house outside of the woods.  Communication was difficult, because she never learned human tongue, but she was a quick learner.  Eventually, she was able to communicate that her mother had sent her to live with him.  She was confused as to the reason, just knew something bad would happen if she didn't.

Reluctantly, the young man- named Jerome Moore- took her in.  And gave her clothes. And her name.  And was lightly harassed by his roommates about the circumstances surrounding the situation.

After a while, the dryads were able to track her down.  They surrounded the home where her father was, and demanded the girl's blood be spilled.  However, her father wasn't the only person in the home who had had secrets.  Nearly all of his roommates did, and a few friends came out to help, too.  It was a large battle, but they were eventually able to push the dryads away- causing them to retreat.

Following that incident, she learned not only that her father's roommates had special abilities, but they each had their own personal issues to face as well- and there were many a battle fought.

She grew pretty rapidly and was a quick learner, and she soon began to learn what she was capable of. So, she started asking to fight alongside her father and friends. The answer was clearly, "No."  Unfortunately, because she snuck out in the middle of a battlefield one day, she was able to witness her father becoming impaled- and killed- by a spear.

So, she ended up in the care of her family friends.  

For a while, she sought vengeance for her father, and her darker side started to show.  But those who had helped raise her saw what was going on, and eventually eased her away from her more demonic nature.  She retrospectively saw what had happened, and feared for herself- should it happen again.

When she was able to pass herself off as old enough, and felt comfortable enough to do so, she left the home where she grew up.

Thanks to her mom's side of the family, she had an ethereal beauty about her, and she was easily led her into the world of modeling.  She quickly became disillusioned, though, so.. She decided she wanted to start her own business of some kind, and went into school for business management!  Still models on the side, though, for money.

Ironic, after she left to live on her own, all the baddies disappeared.  She found she missed them.

'''Metamorphasis''' - The gradual progression of Apple's nature.  She ''cannot'' go into each category at will- whatever abilities are available to her are dependent on what she's been through lately.

- For Apple to go from Normal to Demon, she, essentially, needs to be gutted- either physically or emotionally- over time.  Friends abandon her, opportunities lost, bad decisions leading to regrettable consequences.. Things like that. 

- For Apple to go from Normal to Fae, she simply needs to spend lots of time in nature.  A stroll through the park won't do much... but camping in a forest for a week might! 

- For Apple to go from Dark/Fae back to normal, she needs to be treated normally (and, occasionally, with TLC) by those who love/care for her.

In Fae form, the energy is no longer dark, and resembles twisted vines.

'''Dark Touch''' - Apple can cause life to wither away with a simple touch.  Smaller objects wither quicker than larger objects, of course.

'''Poison Kiss''' - Apple's kiss, when she's in this state, can be positively deadly.  If she wills it, poison can secrete through her lips, and poison the person she's kissing.  It's a toxin that is relatively harmless at first, almost takes fruit-like and can be mistaken for lip gloss, but over time it will make the person kissed feel very ill, and start to show signs of cyanide poisoning.  If enough time passes without an antidote (or magical cure,) the kiss can be fatal.  The rate of reaction depends on whether the poison was ingested (person licked their lips,) was left on the lips, or the kiss missed and ended up on the skin, in order from quickest to slowest.

Graceful (2): Apple is extremely agile and delicate in her movements. +1 Bonus on all Athletics rolls. Botches will still hurt, but she will look good falling down!

Well-Traveled- Earth (3): She is knowledgeable of the ways of the world from your travels and studies. Once per mission, roll against a difficulty 6 (just a die roll, no modifiers). If successful, the GM tells you information about the situation if it makes sense.

Poison Resistance (2): She has an innate ability to resist the effects of many toxins. Whenever you need to roll to resist poisons, you get a +2 Bonus.

Good Old Boy/Girl (2): Apple's just a nice person, and people recognize and appreciate that. +1 Bonus on social rolls when interacting with your fellow folk.  ''May not work on those who are aware of her other natures.''

Green Thumb (1): Not only do plants thrive in her care, they almost seem to burst into bloom from your touch. ''She has the ability to grow her plants quicker than most other dryads would.''

Beast Affinity- Forest Animals (2): Animals are unusually drawn to her, and though she can't speak with them, she can communicate with them on a limited level using tone of voice and body language. 2-point is with one group.

Nightsight (3): Apple can see in near-total darkness. She will be sensitive to bright light, and sudden bright light may dazzle her for a turn or two.

====General====
Compulsive Speech (aka Big Mouth) (1): For whatever reason, Apple has difficulty sticking to the rule, "If you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all."  At 1 point, Apple is talkative and a bit blunt.

Dark Secret (1): There's something that Apple doesn't want people to know, and it would be very bad if they did (or at least you think it would be). ''Her being half-demon, and even half-fae.  Just, for the most part, wants to be considered normal.  In addition, is (rightfully) afraid that the fae have not stopped hunting her.''

Enemy/Group Enmity (2): ''Due to her father's demon blood, she is branded an abomination by her mother's dryad society.  She is wanted for death, and has been hunted due to it.''

Otherworldly Taint (2): She has several physical peculiarities. Someone who suspects she's not "normal" may make an Alertness roll, difficulty 7, to determine what she is. ''Hair, sometimes ears/eyes.''

* Is weak against the element of fire.  Can handle it in normal doses, but when enhanced, especially when she's slipped into one of her alternate forms, it becomes more and more debilitating.

====Demon Form====
Masochist/Sadist (1): Apple either enjoys pain or enjoys inflicting it on others.  Or both. In addition to the inconveniences this fascination may cause you, you may also be seen as sick (and, well you are), or even more sick people may use you for your obsession. 

Offensive to Animals (1): For some reason, animals fear or just don't like Apple. All rolls involving interacting with animals are at a -1 Penalty. Some creatures (Vampires, Werewolves, Robots) have this naturally, so taking it again makes the animals actively antagonistic towards you, and may bite you or pee on you.

* Is weak against Holy elements.  The more into her Demon form she is, the more it hurts- from acting like a normal attack, to straight out burning/paralyzing her.

====Fae Form====
Speech Impediment (1): -1 Penalty to any roll trying to convince or explain something, but this should mostly be played out so people can attempt to decipher your posts. ''Apple recedes within herself and will barely talk.  The more she's in Fae form, the less likely she is to speak.  Telepaths can communicate with her, though.  Also, she can communicate via the racial communicae.''

* Is weak against Iron items.  The more into her Fae form she is, the more debilitating the weakness, affecting her anywhere from causing her temporary stunning, to flat out unhealable injury.
